“I realized I had left some items behind one day after getting home. I called and spoke to a nice gentleman, Doug, to who I explained what happened. He went and looked in some areas I could have left them and called me back, like he said he would. He told me if they were found, they would be waiting at customer service. Luckily I had my receipt. I also told him I was coming back to the store to look myself. When I got to customer service, Doug was with another customer. So when I told another associate what I came for, Doug jumped in and said, “It’s right here!”. I was so excited to retrieve my items. The items weren’t a big deal that day. “Dr Hill and her office are by far the the BEST vets office I have ever worked with. We currently have 4 pets with them and have been in multiple times. We rescued a mama cat and her kittens .. they are all so patient with feral mama cat & the 2 kitties we kept and our Pug .. they love their visits. I highly recommend them. Also, they have Saturday appts which for someone who travels for work during the week it’s PERFECT! 🩷”

“On my day off, I pointed my Tahoe south, and just drove. I eventually wound up in Troy, NC at lunch time. A Yelp search found Martha’s Grill in nearby Star, NC It has a 4 star rating, but the data set is REALLY small with only 5 previous reviews. Looked kind of divey, though, so I headed that way. Definitely a divey place that is well stocked with locals. VERY reminiscent of Tucker’s Grill in Horneytown. I ordered the giant cheeseburger, a hot dog all the way, and fries. The cheeseburger was a 3.5 star effort, with a nice char on the outside and a good flavor. That it was cooked slightly too long is my only gripe. The hot dog was excellent: 4+ stars. As I mentioned in my review of The Dugout, the wiener makes a huge difference in the hot dog experience, and the one Marth’s uses has a really good flavor. I was shocked to learn that it was just a food service hot dog—but it was really a good tasting dog. The chili was good but a little mild, and the slaw was tasty and not too dry and not too wet. The things that push this to 4 stars are the quality of the hot dog and its price: $1.55 for a very good hot dog is very hard to beat. Furthermore, the staff is very friendly. One concern I had was the 90.0 sanitation grade. It is three days later and I’m still alive, but this needs to be fixed. The area is beautiful—at the foot of the ancient Uwharrie Mountains. You can definitely enjoy a lovely drive in the country in this area, have a good lunch, and rub elbows with some locals.”

Unlike other medical facilities in the area where you are treated like a number. They were willing to take me on as a new patient when I didn't have health insurance and was dealing with health issues and other offices declined me because I was a self pay at the time. Best decision I ever made!”
