“Restaurant inside is optimized for takeout, but there are some fish near the front to look at while waiting. I got the classic Generals Tso's with both rice and noodles to make sure everything is in order. Not too much breading, and a nice sweet sauce that sticks a bit longer. The meal itself is simple with no additions at all to the noodles. Pork fried rice. Various sauces and fortune cookies included in my takeout bag. Extremely full and sleepy. It's exactly what my group wanted.”

There is a Subway inside as well, but the staff there is horrible and are too busy talking to do their jobs right for the 3 min it takes to make a sandwich (k&k meats sells subs down the street and they actually respect their customers). We started off with the fried green tomatos, which I was a little iffy about ordering just because it's not something I'd normally get, but we were so glad we did. They were so crispy, and the toppings were delicious. For dinner, I had steak with polenta (substitution for potatoes) and brussel sprouts. Personally, I very rarely order steak out just because I love the way my former chef husband cooks it that no where compares, but I gave it a try and it was SO GOOD. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly with a delicious compound butter. The polenta was also perfectly cooked, so creamy and cheesy; best I've ever had and I really love polenta. I had the special coconut drink and a blueberry (?) martini. We had creme brulee. Everything honestly was just perfect. I love patronizing locally own establishments, and this one is fantastic. The atmosphere, food, and service are amazing. We don't get to go out often but we'll definitely be back!”

“My husband and I are from texas and know great mexican food. We have very high standards. Their chips are a little bit too thick, but they are fresh, and their salsa is excellent. My husband got the prime rib steak with sauteed vegetables, rice, and beans. His Prime rib was perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and tasted delicious. I got the barbacoa plate. It comes with four tacos, some sauce and beans, and it tasted pretty fantastic to me. Got to sit down right away, They were quick to bring out chips , Salsa and our drinks. We did not have a long wait for our food. It was a very pleasant experience there.”
