“Visited for the first time today while vacationing at the beach. The hostess was friendly and accommodating. The food was fantastic…fresh, large portions, and great quality. Loved the unique touches like the pickled onions and tomatoes on the sandwiches, and the brown sugar butter for the biscuits. The sweet potato biscuits with ham and red pepper jam were delicious and better than others I’ve had in the area. The sandwiches are huge (a half portion option would be great), and quite messy but well worth the sticky fingers and extra napkins. Very clean and comfortable atmosphere, and clean restrooms! One of our new “regulars” for sure when we come back to the beach!”

“We love this cute little hangout! Very kid friendly this is our second summer but third time visiting with our whole family! They have corn hole and outside games! We all love the Crushes! They have two “separate” front and back menu ones more sea food and the other is more BBQ/taco/burgers! Very great options! “Had my first Waffle House experience when I was down for a wedding in late September 2023. The very friendly waitress told me for first time I had to get waffles. Well, that's what I wanted anyway! Then she said no honey, you have to try the flavored waffles. She had me at chocolate peanut butter waffles. I also got a side of hash browns, eggs, and bacon. The waffles were very good, I expected no less. The eggs were good. The bacon cooked perfectly. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. Considering how slow things move in the south the Waffle House is the exception. Everything came out hot, fast, and delicious.”

The chicken was so fresh and real! There was nothing odd about the texture like some places. And the pieces were nice size but not overly large like they had been working out. Even the roll that came with it was delicious with the chicken. I chose fries as my side and yep they were yummy too! I chose a cherry drink that I had heard so much about and my oh my! I am sad I waited so long to visit, but now I know. Now to set the proper expectations, service was a tad slow but that is because everything is back there being cooked like grandma used to do in her kitchen and the food was definitely worth the wait. I cannot wait to try other menu items.”

Didn't really like of payment up front which included tip. Really was uncertain what to expect after ordering and what do next. Especially for visiting for the first time. Someone does bring out your food, but it's really a waitress. So you have to go get your own refills. But someone does clean your table off once you are finished. So that is why it's kind of confusing of how to tip and who exactly is getting the tip. I have noticed recently at several restaurants now that it seems to be a team effort which really helps out with the customer service which has really declined in recent years. The area was really open and a little intimidating but it was unique. Well definitely return again though.”
