Petrovitsky Park

Address: 16400 SE Petrovitsky Rd, Renton, WA 98058, USA

Park

“Very nice park, for young kids and older. We went for the first time this evening and there were softball and soccer games going on, people on walks with dogs and kids playing. It was a very nice environment. The small kid area (2-5) is separate from the bigger kid area but close by.”

Issaquah Paddle Sports (* Online Reservations Only *)

Address: 2000 NW Sammamish Rd Tibbetts Beach, Issaquah, WA 98027, USA

Park

“The kayak rental is very simple and is done entirely online. The staff seemed friendly and courteous throughout. Kayaks are in good condition and Lake Sammamish is always really pretty with calm water. Life vests are included in your rental price. All in all, a really good experience!”

Margaret's Way Trailhead

Address: 190th Ave SE, Issaquah, WA 98027, USA

Park

“A really fun hike to do with a loved one, or alone. We loved the bridges and the easy-to-follow trail. It's definitely been taken care of well. It took us 4 hours round-trip to get to the top and back. But definitely worth it! The views from the top were breathtaking! The elevation gain was easy; there are quite a bit of switchbacks that make the climb easier. There's a sign at every fork in the road to help you stay on your chosen path. Plenty of parking in the shade. All told, a fun, gorgeous hike. We will definitely be coming back.”

Seola Greenbelt Seattle Parks And Recreation

Address: 11617 Marine View Dr SW, Seattle, WA 98146, USA

Park

“This is a nice little wooded park on top of a high bluff. You can get some nice peekaboo views of Vashon Island and Puget Sound, but the view is mostly pleasantly obscured. Parking is limited and on a tight corner - careful when turning across the street.”

Paramount Open Space

Address: 946 NE 147th St, Shoreline, WA 98155, USA

“Beautiful park. Great for walks and has some hidden spots that have some cool history to them. Try and find the overgrown homemade tractor.”

Royal Arch Park

Address: 20821 Renton-Maple Valley Rd, Maple Valley, WA 98038, USA

Park

“Beautiful grounds, great open rental facility, nice managers, easy to work with. Clean facilities. Be careful there is poison oak over growing some smaller trails. But, the bigger ones are cut back. Highly recommend for business picnics, baby shower, wedding, birthday party, or family reunion.”

Collingwood Mini Park

Madrona Park

Address: 1508 SW 356th St, Federal Way, WA 98023, USA

Park

“It is what it is, like many Federal Way parks it isn't huge. What is nice is a place to park and take a walk. It's safer to park here than it is at the parking lot on 356th for the BPA trail.. You can also walk south down the dirt path and into Fife Heights a ways. It's also a nice spot to park if you want to walk around the neighborhood to the east. I've done all these with my dog and it's a great out of the way area with lots of directions to go.”

Grass Lawn Park

Address: 7031 148th Ave NE, Redmond, WA 98052, USA

Park

“We were in the area for a soccer tournament and stopped by this place randomly. Quite the complex, I was very impressed. One of the nicest soccer fields I’ve ever seen. They have baseball fields as well. There is a large and a small playground for kids of different ages. There are a few different restrooms that are easily accessible and they were all really clean. Lots of shade under the trees if you want to spend the afternoon and have a picnic. All around a great park and they had a lot of parking so it’s pretty easy to get in and out.”

Confluence Park

“This place is gorgeous. It is listed as an off leash park on Google, but it is not one of those. People do let their dogs off leash, but there is no safe fenced in areas designated for the pooches. The woods, the little bridge, and the water with the ducks was really enjoyable for my guys.”

Pinnacle Peak Park

Address: 26838 SE 481st St, Enumclaw, WA 98022, USA

Park

“Lovely trail with interweaving trails to get you to the peak. This trail is similar in length and elevation gain to rattlesnake but I feel it's a bit easier. There is a main road that you could take horses on that takes you to a small field with a picnic bench. From there to the peak/tower is about the last quarter of the hike. Be sure to remember which trails brought you up because there is one near the tower that branches off and brings you to the mt peak trail head instead of the main parking lot. The whole hike with small lunch at the bench took us 2 hours.”

Hutchinson Playground

South County Ballfields

Address: Military Rd S & South 354th Street, Auburn, WA 98001, USA

“This park is a great addition to King County Parks. There are several baseball diamonds with bleachers, a great playground, and paved walking trails around the park. Lots of parking and a restroom building. There are a couple of covered picnic table areas, too.”

Meadowbrook Park Community Garden

Address: 30th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98125, USA

“Very nice atmosphere 👌”

South Beach Trail

Address: South Beach Trail, Seattle, WA 98199, USA

Park

“You'll need to make your way part way down the Loop Trail to get here, and there's good signage to point out which fork to take. The trail has some stairs and steeper sections, but overall it's still easy to moderate. It follows the beach for a short ways before ending at the lighthouse. Note that it gets pretty windy along the water.”

Hazel Wolf Wetlands

“Haven't been coming here for over 10 years because the kiddos are grown. Recently came back here with my youngest niece. Pretty most of the stuff is the same. There are a few adjustments but this place is always fun as usual. The pumpkin field wasn't big or had a lot of options but the apple cannon is extremely fun. $10 for a bucket of Apple and blasting time exploring them. Great spot for family to hang out. Little crickets absolutely will love a place like this! My niece enjoyed a day at Remlinger Farms a lot!!”
