“Great private park. I love that this is secluded and reserves for the HOA community. It adds a layer of comfort. The lake is beautiful, great walking trail, grassy space and playground.”

“Great park and splash pad combination. Plenty of free parking and green space as well as a trail for hiking. The splash pad has seating all around with covers as well as a retaining wall and steps to sit. The park has three different structures for different age groups with a gazebo available for party rental. The only down side is the prevalence of bees 🐝 at the park. Will definitely go back.”

“Good collection of trails among the trees and creek. Unfortunately a lot of trash and abandoned campsites- primitive trails have way more trash. Turtles and waterfowl abundant along the creek. Can see Mt. Tahoma on a clear day. Free parking near the gate. Free dog bags and trashcan just inside fence near climbing rock.”

“Had an egg hunt here for Easter and it was a blast. In over 3 hours, just three other people passed through to or from the adjacent Interurban Trail and didn't mind our mayhem. The dogs ran around freely (and safely) and the kids found all 120 eggs! Some old needle caps were around but overall, the small wooded area at the end of the dead-end road was quite clean - thanks to the neighborhood folk, I'm sure.”

“Absolutely beautiful trail and park! So many beautiful and cool things to see and explore! Paved trail, easy and accessible for everyone. The playground is a little small but it's still a fun adventure for the kids, especially after walking! Lots of parking, open bathrooms and everything is up kept well! Picnic tables at the end of the trail which is a great place for lunch!”

“Very nice park in the Salmon Creek area of Vancouver, WA. Baseball and soccer fields with a fair amount of parking and restrooms. A small playground for the little kids.”

“Awesome! Lots of ravens. Not the typical kind of overgrown woods you experience in Seattle.”
Address: 16806 Lewis River Rd, Cougar, WA 98616, USA
“Beautifully appointed and clean room with cute rustic decor (hotel unit). It was so nice to have ample counter space in the bathroom (a rarity in accommodation!) and a large shower. It was also nice to have all the toiletries in large refillable dispensing bottles instead of the usual wasteful little plastic bottles. Nice thoughtful touches throughout…wish we could have stayed longer. (The restaurant was excellent also—we shared the largest brownie/ice cream dessert ever!)”

“This place is awesome! We came right at 4 when they open and boy was the parking lot already filling up! $8 admission. Car show on Fridays. For the price of admission you get access to the pool, paddle boats, bounce houses and the fun parks. Numerous little eateries. Beer. It’s a beautiful park.”

“Nice clean beach with a TON of space for sitting under trees, eating lunch, and or/swimming. There are a LOT of picnic tables too, but at the beach itself, you will want a tent/hat to create shade, and a chair to sit on for comfort. The temperature of the water was perfect (mid August). WATCH out on the ramp that leads into the water. It grows algae/moss and is EXTREMELY SLIPPERY. The sand is mostly super small pebbles on the beach, then the medium rocks along the water line, and then it turns in to tiny rocks/sand as you get deeper. Bring swimming shoes/water sandals for those with sensitive feet.”

“Limited parking but you can park off the street. Beautiful scenery, you can hike 3-30 miles depends on your ability. It includes elevation. Very safe. Family friendly. There are signs for you not to lose the route but you also can use your google map to find your way.”

“It's a small neighborhood park but there is a paved walk area around the perimeter of the playground area. There are swings, a slide for young toddlers and a bigger slide. A monkey bar, see-saw, a climbing structure and a few other big kids toys. Two benches and a few picnic tables. There's also a tennis court next to the playground. No restrooms or porta potty.”
Address: 1311 E Herron Blvd NW, Lakebay, WA 98349, USA
“North Beach Park is a signature part of Herron Island. With the playground for kids to have a blast on, to the beautiful beach with a northern view. The (Private) boat docks are also well maintained. There is a fire pit and a community center within the park. All in all just a beautiful park with fun for people of all ages.”

“I was a guest of a wedding here. The venue was absolutely gorgeous. I was unsure which staff were from the castle and which were a third party, so I cannot say much about food or lodging. The wedding was very personalized and it appears the castle was very accommodating with that.”

“Our first visit to this park was during Nike Soccer Camp! By the time we got here, it was clean and ready for the kids to play. It was an entertaining playground for the youngest. Lots of space between the different sports fields and courts for all to enjoy!”
Address: 12601 Addison St SW, Lakewood, WA 98499, USA
“Feels a bit sketchy with adults walking through the park and kids finding beer bottle caps all around (as well as a plastic syringe). Otherwise nice playground and garden. Wish it was taken care of more and accessible.”
Address: 18212 Rhodes Lake Rd E, Bonney Lake, WA 98391, USA
“Extremely difficult and dangerous terrain to repel to get down to the bottom of the falls, unless you have the right gear for it, of course. It's blocked off with fencing, due to a 100 foot cliff, and a teen fell approximately 100 ft. in July and had to be rescued (not the first fall, definitely won't be the last I'm sure). I was told there is another route from downstream to see the falls at the bottom, but I believe it is a private road to get to Fennel creek, otherwise only photos will be from the park side above the falls. The park is fine, a few benches and picnic tables, can bring your dog, but it's fairly small. For the above reasons, I can only give it 3 stars.”
Address: 5700 SW Dash Point Rd, Federal Way, WA 98023, USA
“Went camping at the beautiful park! Bigger than you might think, and popular during the summer! Books fast before the season starts so plan ahead. Lots of spaces, nice size to fit all sorts of sized tents. Various camping options, some with electrical hookups, some cabins, bathrooms with showers available as well! Close to grocery market if needed and neighborhood so not entirely remote, although cell service is almost non-existent. Lots of fun, clean and tidy camp! Over 120 spots!!”

“Just happened to stumble upon this park while we were in the area. Fantastic plays structures for both little and big kids! No bark surface so you don’t get splinters (rubber mats). There is an awesome climbing wall and rope merry go round, and multiple kinds of monkey bars and slides. Shaded spots to bring a picnic lunch or watch the kids, and nice and quiet the day we went (a beautiful sunny day).”

“Great little play area (slide and tunnel) with a zip line. Nice big grassy areas to kick a ball around (note it is inclined though). Especially love the trails across the park, perfect difficulty for little ones!”

“Brett was super helpful finding us a spot for a quick overnight to see a Mariners game. We were taken aback with how nice this campground was. Just wow! Pristine and beautiful grounds, restrooms cleaner and nicer than some hotels we've stayed at. Wish we were able to stay longer. We'd definitely like to stay for a few days next time to chill in the wonderful treed ambience!”

“The trails off into the shade of evergreen foliage one should accurately imagine of this gorgeous state are displayed at Lynndale Park. There's also an off-leash dog park, skate park, sports fields, a large covered picnic area, tennis courts, and a decent playground. If you like photography like me, take a stroll on a sunny day in the early morning or near sunset when the sun casts through the trees and brings out the green of the moss in the bark. Beautiful!”
Address: 13634 108th Ave NE, Kirkland, WA 98034, USA
“This is a wonderful dog park. There are fenced in trails to give the dog an off leash walking experience but also big areas also fenced in where dogs can play with other dogs if they choose. It is big enough that it is fun for the dogs to explore but not too big that it is overwhelming. I appreciate your it is all fenced in and wooded”
