“My BF and I were a little worried at first when we stopped in for lunch, as it had a very outdated sort of “Long John Silvers” chain kind of vibe. But it was busy, full of old people (who are notorious for being particular) and it had good reviews, so we decided to give it a chance. This place did not disappoint! I had the crispy chicken sandwich, which came with some sort of delicious homemade breading, fixins, and a scrumptious bun. My BF had the Mike’s Meat Pizza which he really enjoyed. The best part, though, was the clam chowder! I’m a clam chowder snob and I make it a point to order it every time I try a new place on the coast! Beaches was by FAR the best clam chowder I’ve had to date! The service was wonderful, the crew seemed friendly and happy to work there, and the view of the waterfront was also a nice treat. Aside from the decor, Beaches has it all dialed in. We think it’s a great restaurant and we will back!”

The view was great being right on the water and watching boat and jet ski activity. Our server was casual, hip, and friendly. The only weird thing about this place is that it rocks because it is on the water, and we got a touch of motion sickness, but nothing terrible. If you’re very sensitive to boat movements, don’t go here though — the movement would get to you.”

We would’ve never stopped here if it wasn’t for our first choice to have an almost 2 hr wait. A new and pleasant experience trying French cuisine. Needed some coaching by our server and she was fabulous! The food was Devine. The other diners were great as well as we had a fussy baby at our table. I loved the decor. My only complaint was the wood benches I sat on were uncomfortable after some time. I suggest sitting on your coat or something somewhat soft. Yes, I would come back.”

“This may be the best mom and pop place for legit Mexican food we have ever had. The carne asada tacos were delicious. The beans were not overly watery like some and had lots of flavor. The quesabirria was good without even having to use the consomme. The salsa bar was filled with flavorful, spicy, and delicious salsa. The creamy avocado one was my favorite but the chunky was spicy and full of veggies. There are quite a few tables if you want to eat inside or they package it to go. Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. This won't be our only visit to this place while we are in town!”

“I have been hearing about GBF Catering since I moved to paradise Bay, but I didn’t try it until last Friday. They had “Thanksgiving in July “ & so my Mom and I finally decided to give it a try….& we are so glad we did!! The Turkey was moist, the stuffing was fantastic! Green beans, sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce! Plus a roll with butter and gravy! And for dessert there was a pumpkin pie dessert to die for! I am so pleased with this place and it was easy to get to; directions to the place is on the website. The cook/owner came to the car and personally greeted us (impressive) and they even had a bottle of wine for those who wanted some wine with dinner, for a little extra. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who wants a full course dinner and to treat themselves!!!! It’s the BEST!!!”

The road nearby is busy and traffic was a too little fast to feel comfortable walking across the street with Little ones. Union rings are thick cut and lightly battered. Chicken strips were average.”

“We go to Moulton Falls Winery and Cider House often, the drive along the river is relaxing and beautiful. We always have one of their many hand made pizzas cooked in the outdoor wood burning pizza oven or other meals offered. The wine is top notch and excellent, ciders are very tasty with some sweet and some dry and their beers are a great choice. We have enjoyed many music nights and Valentine dinners. We always take home several bottles. One of our favorite stops on back country road sidecar trips. Joe and the staff are all pleasant and fun to chat with. We recommend them to everyone that is looking for a great experience.”

“I’ve gone to this specific Starbucks for years. Overall, my experiences have been great. The staff are friendly and considerate of your needs. This Starbucks has a drive-thru. The inside is spacious despite its appearance outside. The parking is difficult, however, since the area is small. There is limited parking due to the building being attached to the Dominoes and, again, the parking lot itself is tiny! Not my preferred Starbucks, but I don’t mind stopping by this one either. I do recommend stopping in for your own opinion!”

“Beautifully appointed and clean room with cute rustic decor (hotel unit). It was so nice to have ample counter space in the bathroom (a rarity in accommodation!) and a large shower. It was also nice to have all the toiletries in large refillable dispensing bottles instead of the usual wasteful little plastic bottles. Every other pizza place out there, you can only get a small or medium in GF. This place is a little more expensive than dominos, but the quality is much better. It’s in a cool little spot that you wouldn’t expect to be as nice as it is inside. It’s in the same building as the Chevron...a little odd for its location, but has a nice ambiance and sit down area inside.”
