“Not sure what the deal is with the negative reviews, but maybe I was lucky. Matt was the manager I dealt with, and he was outstanding. Ask for him if you call. If you can reserve online and put in all the relevant info prior to getting there, that will save you tons of time. Matt got me in and out no problem and offered a clean, new and nice ride. Had an issue where I got pulled over because the rental's Pennsylvania registration had expired (the cop laughed and strongly suggested I return the car and get another one), and when I showed up to swap out the ride (on a Friday afternoon when others were picking up and dropping off cars), Matt was apologetic, understanding and got me into another vehicle in minutes. Extending the rental because of delays at the nearby body shop just took a quick phone call. Again, I might have been lucky and gotten there when there was enough inventory to go around, but this was a painless experience. Would definitely use again.”

“Pre-paid rental for 5 days arrive 9:45am about 1.15 hrs hours before my reservation. Spoke a an employee gave me the run around saying no cars available and I had to wait for my reservation at 11. So I said okay but I don’t give up easy. I gave it another try 10 min later with a different employee and that one went beyond and above he gave me an upgrade. But it’s okay I guess other employee just following “ rules” I had no issues very easy to pick up car and return. I would recommend anyone renting a car to go here. Thanks again Avis.”

“Everything went well. The car was reasonably clean. Everyone was very friendly and easy to deal with. The only thing I didn't like was when I asked about the extra insurance option. It was more than I wanted to pay so obviously they tried to sell it to me. I don't blame them. But ... one of their main selling points was the loss of use charges that would be incurred if something were to happen to the car I was renting. These could be over $100 per day while it's in the shop being repaired. I still decided to pass. After talking to my local insurance agent I was informed that they have an agreement with Enterprise to not charge their customers loss of use. Overall a good experience though.”
