If you want good quality and delicious sandwiches, this is the place for you. If you want the cheap stuff, there is one across the street. “I was passing by this area and decided to stop by Waffle Studio for fun. I was pleasantly surprised by how good this place is! They have a variety of delicious waffles, teas, and coffees to choose from. I ordered the strawberry waffle, which was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. It was so good that I almost finished it by myself. I also tried the house salted coffee and the coconut coffee blended, both of which were smooth and flavorful. The house salted coffee had a nice balance of sweet and salty, while the coconut coffee blended was creamy and refreshing. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the cafe was cozy and cute. They have a lot of decorations and seating options, perfect for a small chat or a relaxing break. The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food and drinks. I would definitely come back here again and try their other waffle flavors, such as pandan, sesame. Waffle Studio is a hidden gem in South El Monte that deserves more recognition and customers. This restaurant has a pretty good taco combo plate with 3 tacos your choice meat, side of beans and rice and a drink. Hits the spot. Delicious tacos beans rice everything was tasty and pretty delicious good quality to my surprise. What I found with so many brick and mortar tacos places is there is mass production which skimps on quality and freshness. That was not the case here. The service is top notch. The guy that helped us was super energetic and friendly. Another quality that is lacking at taco places whether it's a taco stand or brick n mortar. Highly recommend.”

“We went for the lunch buffet. All the food is excellent. I think the restaurant might be run by a husband wife couple. I figure the bread is used like white rice because it's unsalted. The food on the buffet was barely spicy for me, but it was on the upset l upper limit for my 8 year old. The fried fish is even better when hot so if you're lucky you should try to get it right when they tell l refill it. I also enjoyed the knuckle dish. I assume it wasn't pork, though I'm used to eating pork knuckle in Chinese dishes that I'm familiar with. The lamb, or maybe goat was very tender as well. We ordered a butter chicken for the kids as it wasn't on the buffet, which is the one item the kids will eat a lot of. My wife said the dine in portion seems to be more generous. All in all I think we'll return to eat there again, the prices are more reasonable, especially for kid's buffet (9.99 vs half or full price for an 8 year old who usually eats one small plate and is full). Most importantly, the food was delicious.”
