Very quick very hot very fresh my Sweet and Sour is not over cooked it is perfect, the General Tao’s is not over cooked and the sauce is GREAT. Crab angels were cooked well does not taste like cheap cream cheese or fake cream cheese either. I will in fact return here again it’s now replacing our Chinese restaurant that closed down in Carlisle. 10/10 would go here again! Inside was clean and was dead but that is not always a bad sign yall. Phone was ringing while we were there so orders were happening. Very nice people. Don’t let reviews fool you, people rarely show the good and only the bad. We took a chance and glad we did. Wife loved it since it’s her time of the month to! So that’s a win win!! “We absolutely love this place — this was probably our 8th visit, and it never disappoints! We came on Saturday with a reservation for 6, and it was packed with a line out the door. Even though it was busy, we were never forgotten — the staff kept checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. Everyone was amazing! “We went to Calhoun's Texas barbecue in Murrieta. We ordered a slab of spareribs, a pound of beef brisket, a side of coleslaw, and a side of beans. Both the beans and coleslaw were delicious. A definite 10/10. Their barbecue sauce was also a 10 out of 10. The brisket was served chopped up and didn't have enough fat in it, so it was a little dry and a little bland, but it was still very tender and good. We give it a 7.5/10. Now lets talk about the spareribs. When you order a slab of ribs, they give you a "full" slab of ribs, the container was filled to the brim. The ribs were so tender, juicy, and fall off the bone. They just didn't have any seasoning. We give them a 8.5/10. We give Calhoun's an overall score of an 8 out of 10, and would definitely go back again.”

“The place is under new ownership/management. It's a Mr. Hero so you know how it is... The place is very clean from what I could see, and it's a pretty new building so it's not run-down or seedy. They seem to always be understaffed. The staff they DO have, however, seems OK but it's EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to understand what they're saying due to an EXTREME Indian/Hindu accent. They seem friendly and courteous enough but service is quite slow. It's a "Catch 22" because while the service is very slow and it seems to take nearly the lifetime of a galaxy from the time you order your food until you have your food in your hand at the drive-thru, it's because everything is cooked to order so you're getting VERY FRESH food. The food quality seems good for a fast-food restaurant. They do have some new items on the menu, one of which I recently tried and found to be delicious (which is what I went back for today)...Loaded Potato Wafers...it comes with cheese, bacon, chives, and what I believe to be ranch. I'm not 100% certain because of the mix of all the flavors but it's a white sauce and the dish is actually delicious. One thing one can't help but notice is that they are very rarely busy. If you go through the drive-thru you're likely to be the only one there most of the time. I'm not sure why this is as I personally don't have any complaints about the place other than it's very expensive for fast-food. I ordered two of the large Loaded Potato Wafers and nothing else and it cost $11.98. A few days ago I ordered a MEDIUM Hot Buttered Cheesesteak with only extra meat but no onions or mushrooms and one large Loaded Potato Wafers and it was OVER $20.00!! Just TWO ITEMS and $20 plus dollars. But, again, that's Mr. Hero, it's ALWAYS been expensive but THAT was a bit of a shocker. While I have no complaints other than the ridiculous cost and how long it takes to get your food, I can't give 5 stars because it's just not 5 star worthy in my opinion. 4 stars is still excellent in my book, though.”
