“First time at Hector’s. Have seen good reviews about them and they were right. Great staffs, lots of room even for big group. The building looks small from the main road but they have tons of spaces. Great selection of food and you can also create your own plate selection. I always get my beef enchiladas and they were good too. The salsa is fresh and you can taste and see the ingredients. Big plus on that. Highly recommend them. Next time will have to try their catfish!”

“If it's one thing I appreciate from this place is the portions. Now a days it's hard to find good homemade type food for a decent price. But at Uncle Don's they don't skimp out. I love the sweet plantains. Rice and peas was a bit dry but the flavor is still there. Jerk chicken has flavor without overpowering everything else. The Spicy Beef Patty uff.. my favorite. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a great establishment for this community. It brings good & delicious carribean food to this part of Long Island. I highly recommend this spot”

“Went with my best friend on a Saturday night. It was really busy and lively but very organized . We found a great table in the corner and were greeted quickly by our server. I could tell she was new, but she really made it easy for us to take our time to look at the menu and order our drinks. We ordered the fried zucchini while we were figuring out what we wanted for our meal. We got a great recommendation and placed our orders. Everything was fluid, and the food was fresh and hot. “I was spending a few hours with friends I had not spent time with in person for several years. At one point, one in our party wanted coffee, so we decided to look around for a place for coffee, and found Cafe Nico's. The cappuccino was delicious, and I also had a flaky pastry filled with a vanilla custard sauce. Since the cafe is Italian, I cannot refer to it as a croissant. This is one of the few places that is cash only. I look forward to returning, the first chance I can.”

“Great little find! At first, we were not sure what to make of this small, roadside Brazilian restaurant. They don’t serve alcohol, but it looks like they are working on it. We ordered the mixed grill. The steak was medium rare just like we ordered it and very tender, the chicken with bacon was so tasty and the sausage juicy and delicious. We had the fried yuca and the kale Caesar, both were very good. Great service! Definitely recommend!!”

“The food is good! I had the personal pizza with pepperoni but they sadly forgot my pepperoni. I had it a few nights ago too and it was way better with pepperoni lol. If you do get the pizza get ranch! The ranch made it so much better. I was very excited for the spaghetti but it sadly wasn’t as good as expected. The meatballs were great but the sauce not as much. The service was great and I really liked them!! Everyone working was super sweet!”

“I heard about the restaurant from Guy Fieri and wanted to try the spaghetti squash primavera. I got it as takeout and it came in a container wrapped with cling wrap. The food was so delicious. The spaghetti squash was cooked just right so it had a slight firmness to it. The primavera sauce was smooth tasting and the vegetables were all cooked and seasoned well. Unless you're vegan, definitely get the cheese on top. I think it made the meal even more delicious. Also, I enjoyed the retro style of the restaurant.”
