What I remember is that the Garlic Knots needed a little more garlic and salt. One thing I liked about previously living on Long Island is how the water there makes the dough taste better. Amazing though for me to see that the Knots picture is my highest viewing picture at over 368K views since posting it, but back then they weren't the best part of the meal. The best part is the atmosphere and location of the restaurant. We miss and still love Northport. Even after living in Colorado for the last 22 years, when we get back, we come to Northport to eat, socialize and enjoying the local establishments. BUT, believe it or not, they are actually human too and omg have bad days from time to time...which in all honesty, barely affects their attitude towards the customers. They have great food that is always hot and fresh. When you get a breakfast sandwich or a burger, you can break your teeth trying to eat it cause they sat in a warmer all day, unlike other places. They sell these veggie cups that my raccoon LOVES, and the veggies are always fresh as well. They have clean restrooms, and beverage island is always clean and well stocked. If by chance it's not, all you have to do is say something and the cashiers are right on it as long as they are free of customers. They have a wide variety of things to choose from and their prices are not retarded gas station high. It's my favorite gas station around and their employees are the BEST!!!!”

The coffee is always rich,smooth and hot not nasty or watered down like other places.Linda makes some bomb authentic boba drinks that are very good. The doughnuts are freshly made daily and the breakfast sandwiches or burritos are made and grilled or toasted to perfection. Beer selection is vast, can find anything from a porter to a pilsner to a red ale. The nitro stout was delightful, so much so that I had to double up on it. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with just a hint of salt! We have the Cajun pasta and "that" chicken sandwich. Pasta and chicken needs more seasoning to be considered "Cajun", it tastes like a mildly spiced chicken Alfredo. "That" chicken sandwich was really THAT amazing. “I grew up in STL area though I haven't lived here for almost 40 years. The best Italian food was at The Hill. However this place in Baldwin breaks that trend. It is clearly a 5 star experience. It blows away places we have been in AZ and most of CA. The fusilli was excellent as were the other entries. Wine was superb. See pic below for a wonderful red. Staff was very friendly, helpful etc. There Is a large patio dining area. Ignore the 1 star reviews as we HIGHLY recommend you try it. It is as good as what we experienced in Italy. In fact the less than 5 star reviewers should try it again. Like Italian, try them. You wont be disappointed. We liked it so much we went back to the bar for a glass of wine.”
