“Nice little restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. We decided to stop on whim and try a new place. Once we stepped in, you can see that they embrace their namesake. They have hard hats lined above the bar, and it's cool to see all of the different companies represented on them. It is seat yourself, first come first served. There was a bit of a wait for our food, but not off putting. The place was full the whole time, so it was understandable and they did a good job. The serving sizes were good, and the pancakes were huge. They are plate sized and thick, so order wisely lol. Everything tasted great and the staff was friendly and efficient. We will definitely be returning and suggest checking them out when in the area.”

“When dining in at Bourbon Steak Orange County, you are in for a real treat. The restaurant is located just to the left when entering the hotel lobby of Waldorf Astoria Monarch - Dana Point. We had an 8 pm reservation, being sat at a table that wasn't our favorite, not much of an ocean view unless you were on the outside balcony. We have an amazing dining experience from start to finish. The service and staff were amazing! Melissa, our waitress, is extremely professional and knowledgeable! If I could give more than 5 stars to her, I would. The food presentation and flavor were great. Wagyu beef is highly recommended. This is a place to go any time you want a great steak paired with excellent service. Not cheap but worth it.”

Serving a family of seven we cut straight to the chase and get the party pizza that serves us and provides a few with leftovers in the morning. The sauce is perfectly balanced with seasoning and touch of sweetness. Their cheese is thick and perfectly balances with the hearty crust. The smoothie was alright - not the biggest fan of the after taste but it wasn’t awful like other people make it seem. The chicken was really good. I did ask them to make sure it was well seasoned. The portion was enough for 2 lunches for me (eating for loss, not gains) but I also don’t eat very big portions. I took my food to go because the location is inside a gym. A little awkward if you’re just trying to have a quiet lunch. I can’t wait to go back and try something else on the menu. I’ll keep trying the smoothies, maybe there’s some with better flavor”

“We found our new regular stop in George West! We pass this town when we travel to San Antonio and usually stick along 281 for dining. This place is just a couple of blocks off Business 281 and COMPLETELY WORTH IT! They offer salads, sandwiches, burgers, soups, and general BBQ/country style food. Portion size is above average for an adult. My wife shared her pasta with our 4 yr old and they still couldn't finish it. I barely could finish my chicken fried chicken. Overall place sits about 17 different average families. You may need to park across the street to dine in. Street wasn't busy so not a problem. Servers were friendly and served with a smile. We completely regret not finding this place sooner! Loved everything about here!”
