“You could tell that things were hectic. There was still training staff going on. Still the same pleasant and cordial place I remember to eat. I’ve been enjoying Bishops since 1977. Same family run atmosphere. They were just opening up again with new staff so I wasn’t looking for perfection. We had a couple hiccups while there, but hey give them a chance. It’s local and the atmosphere is family. It’s not supposed to be fine dining in my opinion. I could tell they were trying to meet there customer needs with good service, food, great deserts, and awesome onion rings. I Will definitely be back with family and friends. The portion was a little small, but the taste was good. I also tried the wonton poke, (Spicy tuna on a bed of seaweed on a wonton shell.) It too has a kick. So delicious! Last but not least was the salmon skin salad. Now, this wasn't on the menu, but I saw it on their website and they said they could make it for me. It is GREAT! I told them to put it back on the menu- it is that good.”

So today, I was driving back from Quartzsite and remembered this place and had to stop for lunch. They had a special, slice and 5 wigs for $8.99, I thought that was a great deal. I ended up getting a slice of pepperoni and mushroom with 5 hot wings. The pizza was better than I remember, the crust was nice and crispy and the sauce had great flavor. I'll be honest, when I first saw the wings I thought they were going to be soggy cuz they looked drenched in sauce. Boy was I wrong, those were some good wings. Every one of them was cooked just right and had crispy skin. Even the last one at the bottom of the bowl that was sitting in the sauce was still crispy when I ate it. The guys behind the counter were friendly and got me my order right away. If your looking for a great pizza joint in Buckeye, I suggest you visit Palermo's Pizza. You wont be disappointed.”
