“Hopefully they open this developed picnic area to overnight camping in the near future, I'll give it 5 stars when they do. Located a few miles South of Robins Butte Wildlife Area when heading South on AZ85. Numerous sites with shaded tables, BBQ's, restrooms. There are a couple easy hikes up the hills to get a decent view of South Buckeye and the White Tank range. Only a few miles away from the Buckeye RV & Boat Storage makes it a convenient location for a quick day trip.”

“A great place for an awesome Rodeo experience. Everything is top notch and very entertaining. There is a boardwalk with carnival rides, food, and vendors, and then the entertainment. The bull riding was fun and exciting to watch. The announcer and entertainment were spot on during downtime. This is a very friendly family environment. Very affordable.”

“Absolutely beautiful. The trails are well groomed but rocky. Wear good hiking shoes or boots and bring plenty of water. There are a lot of trails to choose from depending on your level. There are shorter more well groomed trails like the waterfall trail or longer 9+ Mile trails with lots of elevation changes. Lots of wildlife to see on the trails and beautiful views. The library at the entrance of the park is also very nice. There is a great souvenir shop in the library as well.”

“Nice little place for the kids to hang out at. They pool, park and skate park all right next to each other. Super convenient. I appreciate that so the teens that I've seen the don't mess with the younger kids just learning. They just let them do their thing there. My kids were really nervous when we first got there but we're quickly put at ease when they were welcomed to skate too.”

“Started from this trailhead out to the Maricopa Trail. It’s a nice enough trail, maybe a little less groomed than one would expect for the fact that it’s in the regional park with the $7 entry fee. It’s definitely nice/essential to go out early in the summer. My particular visit was after the trail got some rain so the trail was damp (nice not to kick up dust). Definitely a pretty accessible trail for most that can cover 5 miles and are motivated by some great desert views.”

“Very well maintained Park IMO. There are Maintenance people there most of the time so very few homeless people. Plenty of shade trees and they put wood chips in the playground. There are 2 Basketball courts, and they have a Cornhole game near the playground. In the Spring the parents bring their kids to play soccer.”

“This is an amazing park, you can fish, run, BBQ, picnic, play at the water park and playground for both big and small kids, nothing is ever broken and it's kept clean there's also bathrooms which aren't that clean but everything this park has makes up for it. ITS ALSO FREE! Water park is running from 10am-8pm which is perfect”

“My soccer league plays here often. Fields are usually in ok shape but took a star off because sometimes they're a little beat up. Still a pretty solid complex tho with good lighting for play at night, plenty of parking and on-site bathrooms.”

“The folks at SunRae StageStop are a pleasure to work with and go the extra mile to ensure your stay is best for you! I stayed at their site for 8 nights and it was very clean with plenty of room for my camper. They even went above and beyond to find and recommend the perfect contractor to do a major repair on my RV - this was a huge help considering it was a complex repair and most RV repair guys won't do. Have no worries, these guys will take care of you. I highly recommend!”

“Really beautiful hike! If you can get up early, do it. The sunrise at the peak was absolutely to die for. It's not the easiest hike... so come prepared. I'm talking tons of water, comfy shoes, a headlamp if you start really early. But it is so worth it!! I use the all trails app and it seems pretty up to date so I would recommend taking a look at that map and screenshot it on your phone, just so you know what trail to take and when to turn for the peak. There are multiple trails and stuff around this area it seems like. It's not supper easy to get lost though, the desert helps with that because you're not surrounded by tall trees or anything. It's pretty clear the direction you need to go the whole time. Hope this helps! Happy hiking 😊”

“Great little park. It has a slide, stairs, and a ramp down to the grass area. There is a play area for kids. There is also a table and chairs to hang out or eat at. The grass will come in green in the summer. This area alternates which park gets winter grass, and this park didn't this year.”

“This is a great park if you’re looking for a spot to play baseball, volleyball, or basketball. There is also a shaded playground for kids and a nice wide sidewalk circling the whole park, inset from the nearby roads, that is perfect to take your kids for a scooter or bike ride and not have to worry about being close traffic. There’s also a nice little bridge feature that looks like a good spots to take photos! The only thing to look out for is all activities need to be done during daylight hours, there are no lights whatsoever at the park, anywhere!”

“If your looking for a nice long trail to go for a side by side ride or any off road riding. This is a great place to go. You can get great views of Four Peaks and Sahuaro lake. There are a few trails that lead to the beach areas on the back of the lake for lunch or just a cool down spots for a nice adult beverage. You can choose how extreme your ride will be depending on your experience or comfort level. Roads are labeled with FR #'s and easy to navigate even for a novice rider. We have taken a few group rides here with different types of vehicles. Enjoy your ride, be safe( this is Arizona), and be curious to other drivers! (You never know when you might need there help)!!”

“Great spot when the weather is right. High clearance vehicle recommended though 4x4 is not necessary. Deer, coyote, fox, javelina & rattlers are common. Saw my first big Mountain Lion here near the river bottom, stay smart. Bring water.”

“Mark and all of the staff are phenomenal. Everytime I take my family up there or if its just me and I encounter any of the staff everyone has been super nice. Whenever I play basketball and there is an issue with it getting dark to soon or vice versa and the basketball lights are not in sync ,I give Mark a call and he never hesitates to take care of the problem promptly with the utmost courtesy and respect. The park is kept clean and well maintained by staff who know how to do their job consistently. Great Job everyone!!!”
