“Was a little hesitant to stay here but the price was right and decided to try it based on the good reviews. Don’t hesitate - book it! You won’t regret it. We had a room on the second floor - vaulted wood ceilings - large room - sitting area - mini fridge and microwave. Bathroom is a bit dated but clean. Lots of storage space. Grab some supplies from the nearby Costco and you are set. Went to the $ store and got some cutlery and mugs (hate drinking coffee out of cardboard). Included breakfast consisted of good coffee - juice - yogurt - granola bars. Perfect. Staff was professional and polite. Rooms quiet. Location perfect! Free parking. We visit all around the LA area and it was easy to get to any of the highways or the beaches. Pool was closed due to colder weather but looked clean. Would not hesitate to stay there again.”

“I've been staying or living on and off a long time in Star Motel or other motel hotels on Okeechobee Rd...I conceived in this Motel and was pregnant here at a young age even worked at Stonewall Lounge while living here.The place is better than a trailer park and there are some really nice rooms and the owner whom I've known since a kid growing up in Miami Springs and playing in his house...really cares and goes above and beyond to help his people.Just don't burn the bridge with him and you will always have a place to stay on a cold night or hot day...provided you can put up with the Security Guard...lol and they have a room.”

“Have used O since moved here 6 yrs. Ago. Always upfront and honest, professional, clean waiting room. Taking appointments mostly, the wait time is minimal, depending on service needed. I had blowout on US1, night before, first thing in AM. I called. They ordered a new tire, it was in that afternoon. It took 35 min. And they checked other 3 tires.. Always a great experiences deal with them.”

“Trina and Cello are truly so amazing and helpful. If I could give them six stars I would. Their place is admittedly small, but it is cozy and for the price it is a complete steal. I saved a lot while staying with Trina and a Cello, and I enjoyed my time here. I leave in a couple days but I’ve been here for the past few and they have been absolutely lovely to me and so kind! Wonderful hosts, tasteful and well cared for home, and a good location to commute from.”

“Stayed for 3 nights, amazing. Breakfast was definitely the biggest downfall of the stay (quality wise), but a free breakfast is always appreciated and accepted! A close walk to the rail station for those who need access to the airport, even for extremely early flights you’ll feel safe walking over in the early dark hours of the morning. Didn’t experience the pool, but the gym was perfect and very spacious. Also, woman at the front desk was super helpful although I cannot remember her name.”

“Great Stay! I had a terrible experience at quality inn down the road and this room was able to accommodate me and take us in on short notice. The rooms were clean, house keeping gave us plenty of towels and they provide soap, body wash etc. These rooms also has full refrigerators as well. The owner even gave us a hug when we left and thanked us for out stay. I would definitely go back if I’m in New Orleans.”

“Big Thank You to Al’s Auto Glass! My front windshield was cracked and chipped from a rock that flew out of a gravel truck on the freeway. When I called for a quote they were courteous and requested photos of the damage via text. They were able to text me back promptly with a quote and offer their services the same day. “We laid to rest a family member this day. This was my first time coming to this establishment. Price comparison to other cemeteries I found them a bit on the high side. Which is why I gave them four stars. There were a few tombstones that needed cleaning. Which also negated a five-star rating. Based on the price for being buried here. Needless to say the ceremony went off without a hitch. We did not feel rushed. The cemetery docent did an incredible job to offer closing ceremonies like a flower ceremony, dropping the handful of dirt ceremony, and taking care of the extra flowers to be placed on the grave so the bouquets didn't go to waste. Overall I think this was an incredible establishment. If you can afford it and you're living in the area and you're a type of person who feels they need to visit the remains of their loved one I would recommend this establishment.”
