“I’ve driven by this restaurant on so many occasions and have always admired how appealing it looked from the outside, but have never stop to actually dine in. Mainly because I’m not a huge wine fine. I like sweater drinks that don’t cause my cheeks to pucker, but my husband came home for lunch and wanted to treat me and my youngest of 8 kids for lunch. The youngest is 2 by the way. Anyways, I was pleased to go out and have a mini date with my husband and I truly had wanted to visit and try it out, as I love to visit new establishments and find treasured places to be on my favorite list. With this adventure awaiting we went. I honestly love how it is set up. I love the outside tables and chairs with the fireplaces to create warmth and comfort for its customers. The inside is just as cute as the outside. We did come during lunch almost as they opened, so we did miss some of the lunch traffic I’m sure. The customer service was ok, not really eager or friendly, but it was modest. Nothing to write home about. I did find they had some drinks, but they were out of the mix, so that was kinda disappointing I kinda wanted a Bloody Mary, oh well. They had mimosas and sangria, but as I mentioned I’m not a huge wine or beer fan. Oh well! When we did get our food it was really good, which kinda made up for the drinks. I honestly loved the fries and they even put shredded Parmesan. I do have to say fries were definitely the highlight. I ordered the truffle burger medium rare and it was pretty good. It even had caramelized onions and truffle aioli, which wasn’t to bad. Of course the 2 year old had the chicken strips and fries which looked perfectly cooked, thank god. See a lot of restaurants make kids meals and burn it and then guess what they won’t eat it and who has to suffer the parents that paid for food quality and you know kids. If it doesn’t look right or smell right it’s all over. Husband ordered a blackened salmon burger, which he liked all except the mango salsa, or mango chutney or maybe it was a mango something or other. Anyways, all in all the experience was good. A little pricey for lunch. Mainly it’s dinner prices at everyone other restaurant, but still was good and I would go again to try something else.”

“Stopped in for a quick breakfast this morning. My partner and I got breakfast paninis and our child tried the pancake combo. The sandwiches were good, but definitely needed the hot sauce, they were a touch light on flavor and the "special sauce" was a bit too sweet for my taste. Maybe if the sandwich came with some veggies or fruit, it might have brought it up a notch. Still good, we cleared our plates. We enjoyed the coffee and the hot chocolate was pretty good. Service was over the top good, definitely an owner operator vibe and they seem very eager to make sure you leave happy. Did seem a bit cluttered in there, especially behind the counter, but it seemed clean so I just went along with the classic "hole in the wall" vibe. Might try a noodle or rice dish one of these days for lunch/dinner they looked pretty good.”

“Who doesn't love tacos? This is probably my go to place for tacos. They have all the "unusual" cuts of meat (cabeza, lengua, etc.). There is a male chef and a female chef. IMO the female chef cooks the food better. The tortillas and the meat just come out more crispier. And their horchata is delicious.”

“Reached there almost at the closing time though still were greeted with the same cheer and warmth as if was the start of the day. An absolute sign of great customer service. Parking can get a bit tight though we got in over there late and we're able to secure a spot for ourselves in the parking lot that is right behind the restaurant. While Pupuseria Los Dubon may not boast an upscale setting, it more than compensates with its warm and welcoming atmosphere. The cozy and unpretentious interior exudes authenticity, making it the perfect spot for a casual and delicious meals. On top of that the service is a true reflection of Salvadoran hospitality - friendly, warm, and attentive. The staff made us feel like cherished guests from the moment we arrived (even though we were between them and the exit having reached there last minute) . Their knowledge of the menu and their enthusiasm in explaining Salvadoran dishes was a delightful surprise. Before i get to what we ordered for the table, their pupusas are to die for and nothing short of extraordinary. These stuffed corn tortillas are handcrafted to perfection, with a delectable array of fillings. We ordered Frijoles Con Queso, Jalapeno Con Queso (pupusas) along with 2 orders of Pescado Frito (such amazing fried fish) and Plato Las Dubon. Their fried fish was done to absolute perfection and so were the pupusas and the meat platter as well. We thoroughly enjoyed the food in every morsel that we ate. All in all the restaurant gives an excellent choice for a budget-friendly and satisfying meal. We are definitely going back to those savory Pupusas and amazing customer service that Pupuseria Los Dubon has to offer. Cheers!!!!”

We had lunch there and I’m not going to say that the service was great and the food was awesome because that’s not true. The service was OK. Our orders didn’t come out all together so my daughter watched us eat and we were more than halfway done by the time she got her order, which I don’t appreciate that at all especially when you go out with your family to eat together…. After we had lunch we hit the games. Most of the games worked just fine but there was about three games that did not work and only one game were we compensated for the other ones we didn’t even complain. It wasn’t worth waiting there for somebody to come and then try to figure out what game we wanted to play, we just let it go so I can only imagine how many other families let things like that go and I found that to be very disappointing especially with how the economy is having to basically throw your money on games that don’t work but overall my family and I had a very good time”

“This was my first time visiting this place. There were some absolutely amazing stand outs and some things I would not order again. I would skip the salmon sashimi, pork bao and the churro dessert. “Nectarine Grove is a favorite. Almost everything, if not everything, on the menu, is gluten free. They have a wide variety of food options and everything I’ve ordered here tastes delicious! One of the few restaurants around that also does not cook with seed oils! Chicken and Waffles (The chicken is plantain crusted!) , Breakfast Tacos, Chimichurri Steak Bowl, & the Pizzas are a handful of personal favorites. They have a cooler full of rotating desserts that are all really tasty as well. The staff is friendly and attentive. Many of them have actually become friends over the years. They also stock a large selection and variety of drinks. From coffees, to beer and kombuchas, and specialty drink choices. Though I usually stick with the free water. Stoked to have Nectarine Grove in San Diego. We need more restaurants that cook with real butter, coconut oil, and quality whole food ingredients. It’s fairly easy to spend $20-$30 here per person, but I always leave feeling like it was well worth it, & satisfied!”

My tacos were nothing like I remember. I'm assuming this is a different truck from when I came years ago because the food had flavor and SPICE! Loved my tacos and I'm already looking forward to coming back to try a burrito or torta. We had Pastor, Asada, and tripa and they were all cooked perfect. Not dried out and not greasy at all. I also liked how clean the area looked. Tables look like they wipe them down and no garbage all over the floor. From food to service to the location it's all perfect.”
