“We are about 60 feet away from the Intercoastal Waterway. Awesome. Management is outstanding they really care about your comfort. Dawn goes out of her way to assist and help. Would've given a 5 star rating if the drinking water was better. We will return next year. This park is not a resort but a Great Fishing camp with good people. Dog friendly!”

“This is my second stay at The Grand Oaks Resort and I still love it. This time I stayed in a single cottage and don't it very comfortable and quiet. It is a duplex with a double next door and an 8 stall barn attached. Fridge, stove, King bed and full bath and central A/C. Sofa opens into a sleeper. Dog friendly with a fenced area for your dog right off the front door.”

“What a beautiful place to stay. You can not have a more perfect place to stay. Green grass, horse pastures, arenas, and stables. Great evening walks that are beautiful and relaxing. Scenery is spectacular, oak lined streets to give you that back in time feeling. Everything is well cared for and and in working order. Sites are very spacious and clean. Staff has been great. The bistro is great for food and the French onion soup is to die for. This is our second time staying here and won’t be our last.”

“Beautiful and well maintained park. Owner truly cares for and assists the residents (regardless of the comments made by one disgruntle person). Perfect location, just rural enough to be quiet and safe and yet close to anything you could want or need. Owner just invested big bucks installing a screened in pool, and independent water and sewer system in case it is ever needed. Also, added security gates to insure privacy and safety. Friendly residents that do not hesitate to welcome and help you when needed. Some residents are seasonal for fishing and the great weather. Some are year round residents. Not fancy, just nice, clean and enjoyable. Highly recommend this park.”

“My name is Steve Lawson. My wife & I have lived here in West Wood Mobile Park for approx.7 years now..Before speaking to the Land Lord about renting here Our Pastor Gina, my wife & I prayed in front of the office & asked God to give us favor. Then we met the Land Lord Gene & Sandy Bowman. They were very nice to us & walked us to a few different mobile homes to give us our choice. Each mobile home was very clean & attractive. The monthly rent here was way more reasonable than any other place we considered renting. Plus free city water, free WiFi. I have never seen a more experienced maintenance man as well as harder worker as our Land Lord Gene Bowman who works everyday keeping this park 100% clean, safe, & maintained. We have fortunately made really good friends with many of our neighbors here, & everyone here is nice & friendly. The owner Bill loves animals & takes much concern in giving us a very nice clean friendly park here. It is drug free here. There is also a very low crime rate percentage here, with a very good monitoring system to keep out illegal activity, which keeps us feeling safe here. We are very blessed that the Lord gave us favor 7 years ago & allowed us to live here. Sincerely Steve Lawson”

“My husband and I stayed here for the first and we loved it. First time we came to this area we fell in love. The owners of Carter's are wonderful. We are even wanting to buy a home in the park. Lots of restaurants within a few miles. Must visit Flagler Ave for shops, restaurants and fun night life and direct access to the beach. Very short drive to Daytona as well. Great place to enjoy during bike week. Great boat ramp at Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge for a $10.00 fee.”

“We have come Holiday RV Village for 19 years. Until last fall, it was Holiday Travel Resort. It is now owned by Cove Communities, based in Arizona. Most of their parks are modular home parks. With 935 sites about 700 permanent, we aren't sure the direction big business would take the park. We travel in a motor home and come for 1 to 3 months. So far, improvements started by previous owners have continued. All sites have 50 amp electric. We come because of all the activities and friends we made. They are changing pricing structure. Hence I can't give it 5 stars. No one knows the plan for the future. We will be back one more year.”

Nice course with a good variety of holes. The place was hoping by the time we finished as they were having a pool party at the clubhouse. Reminded me of my parents winter place in North Port back in the day.”
