“Looks like they've renovated the interior recently. Looks great now! Service was alright and the pizza is great. My wife had the hamburger steak and it wasn't hand made. There were several places one could tell they used pre-formed, pre-packaged food instead of making it from scratch. We came for dinner so the pizza bar wasn't available. The salad bar was open but it was a hot mess. Customers had not been kind and the staff had not tried to keep it clean.”

“My friend and I had lunch on a Wednesday. This was my first time. They were pretty busy but the line moved fairly quickly. Once our order was placed, food was delivered to our table quickly. The restaurant is very nice inside. There is also seating outside and options with shade. There is also a small grocery section inside the restaurant. Dry goods and refrigerated items. Highly recommend! I had the vegetable lasagna with tabouli salad and roasted beets. It was delicious! They provide 2 pieces of pita bread with each meal.”

This location updated their drive-through to where they have two lanes to order, but due to space constraints, both lanes for ordering merge into one lane for pickup. “I really enjoyed my visit to Mezcalito and was very pleasantly surprised by a menu of great dishes, unlike the so-so average menu fare at other local places in the area. The drinks/beverage menu was extensive and sophisticated and the bar area had plenty of seating for those popping in for a drink. I ordered the shrimp ceviche which was fresh and a serving so large it would feed three or four people. The salad bowl with shredded chicken was delicious and I couldn't finish it. The service was great and the server returned regularly to check up on me. If you're passing through on the I-85, it's worth the stop!”
