“One of Akron's best hiking/jogging trails. A 3 mile winding hilly trail that follows a small river. Great all year round but in the fall, spectacular views of the autumn leaves. In the summer it's fairly shaded from all the trees and not bad on even the hottest days.”
Address: 2077 Newton St, Akron, OH 44305, USA
“Nice park! A great variety of walking trails to walk on, although there is a tendency to not know exactly where you're going. I would recommend Strava or AllTrails for navigation here.”

“The Narrows is a nice spot with a beautiful path along the water. There’s a few options as far as trails. It hasn’t changed much over the past decade as I relied on my past experience here to navigate the River loop. My only suggestion is the trails aren’t marked well/often. I helped a few people out because they couldn’t find their way to the parking lot. That made me realize I myself hadn’t seen many signs. Overall a lovely reserve that I would recommend to others!”

“We came to hike the trails. There was rain the day before and the Sandusky river was high and muddy. Some parts of the trail along river were covered by water. We enjoyed about a 2 mile hike and will return.”

“Very nice park. There is a large playground, 1/2 basketball courts and a net for badminton with a nice walking track. A few picnic tables and a small shelter interspersed. Quiet beauty in the middle of the suburbs.”

“Pretty impressive facility! Soooooo many fields. I think 32! Turf infield and grass outfield. It poured rain for hours and the fields cleaned up perfectly! The port o potties were not great. The parking was a bit of a hassle for this particular tournament. Very crowded. Food trucks came in which was great! Fences all around and lights on some of the fields. All in all pretty great! So many birds flying around and a great walking/running/biking path behind some of the back fields.”

“This park is AWESOME!! It has 2 separate playgrounds for older and younger kids. The pkayground for toddlers has a fence with gate all the way around enclosing it for safety. It also has a soft mat type ground. There are 2 ziplines, a "rock"-climbing wall, lots of picnic and bench areas, couple of pavilion picnic areas for parties or family gatherings, tennis courts, baseball fields, soccer field, disc golf, walking trails and paths. Bathrooms have always been clean on my visits and plenty of parking.”

“Nice little park. It was good to see the sunshine for the first time in several weeks. There's a lot of little trails that veer of into wilderness. There's A LOT of beaver activity here. Would've given it 5 stars but folks don't seem to pick up their dog's poop for some reason”

“Not as big as I'm used to but it was still neat to walk around after we watched the derby.”

“Fun playground for all age kids. Basketball courts were good. 1 full court and 1 half. Tennis courts as well. Bathrooms were closed but they do have them🤷. Definitely seems good for a dog walk.”

“This is a large neighborhood park that has a playground, a picnic shelter with tables, a basketball court, and a really nice walking loop around an expansive grass field. It’s always well kept and the elements of the playground are suitable for any children that are comfortable navigating stairs.”

“Will always be one of my favorites to see so many of Ohios' beautiful Native plants. It's mid-April, and there are already so many wildflowers in bloom here and lots of bird activity. It is also a wonderful place to get your grounding and earthing in as well. The trails are pretty easy to maneuver, few wet spots here and there but easy to get around. There's almost 6 miles of trails with 5 different North American eco systems thriving, so something for all nature loving enthusiasts here. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed that they visited this gem of a Nature Preserve. Only drawback is no restrooms. Also was happy to find my first rock of 2023 here for North East Ohio Rocks and look forward to hiding it at another park.”

“Wonderful experience at a toddler birthday party. Clean, modern facility with puzzles, birds, fish, snakes. Both indoors and out. The planetarium show was both entertaining and on-point for toddlers. We had a great morning exploring!”

“I had high hopes for this campground and it exceeded every one. The pictures on the website don't do this place justice. Beautiful campground, big old maple trees, the grounds are well kept. Very quiet and great for families. Bill and Ron are really nice guys, very accommodating and generous. I will definitely be back again. Thank you!!!”

“Good place for family camping. We stayed in cabin first time, liked it so much we came back as permanent campers last two years. Even with all the covid restrictions, they have lots for the kids. Our new favorite place!”

“Quaint little park for a few hours of fishing in the pond, or letting the kids play in the very clean playground. I've yet to donthe trails but they look intriguing and manageable for a lvl one hiker or a short afternoon hike. Nice place for a wedding or formal event as well. 2 thumbs up for sure.”

“It's a great park for sitting on the ridge to hunt deer but not good if you want to bring your vintage record player to play some sweet vinyl. There aren't any electrical sockets around. You just stand there holding your record player while imagining listening to Captain Beyond.”

“A nice trailhead and features a somewhat hilly path throughout Barberton. Plenty of parking is available, and there are restrooms here too but I don't believe any water fountains are present (or at least I cannot remember any). Great place to walk or run in nature!”

“Not a lot of stock in the size of the camper we are looking for, just a lot of used campers. Was it worth driving out from Cleveland to look? No. The salesman was very attentive. I appreciated that aspect.”

“Great place to fish if you do not have a fishing license catch and release but who cares if you love to fish so thankful for places such as these!!!!!”
Address: 12990 Nelson Ledge Rd, Garrettsville, OH 44231, USA
“I liked it. They don't require full payment at the time of the reservation, but you can. You check in, get your gate code, find your spot. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was a little bumpy for my sedan on the way to my site. Electric and water hookup worked well. Bathroom and showers were fine. There's plenty of space for dog walks and kids to run around. I'll likely camp here again in the future.”
