“Pros: This is a great little park. There's off road parking. There are three playsets, so, great for accommodating different age groups. Young and mature trees provide good shady spots. There's a pavilion and a basketball court, and a gravel path encircling the play equipment. Cons: The path is not good for strollers, unless they're for off road. The mulch under the equipment has settled so much that it's hard for short children to get on the equipment without being lifted up, or considerable effort. There's no water fountain or restrooms.”

“We went here for the Halloween event. It was great! Kids had a blast! Loved the train ride! Only 'bad part' was they didn't really get any candy, not even 10 pieces and then even that was mostly tootsie rolls so definitely not worth it if you're going for the candy, but we had fun! Beautiful park and playground and swimming pool with a slide here also. Overall, friendly, clean and beautiful place to go all year round!”

“Cool place to visit. The lake is very calm and perfect for those learning to kayak or use a small boat. Take a walk in the woods, the trails are easy and the view inside is amazing. There is a trail with fairy houses which my daughter was very excited to see. Enjoy the adventure.”

“I grew up playing at this park and I live close by now but I think they need to upgrade some things and make it a better part and I don't want to hear we will once we get the taxes we already pay more taxes than any other County around us what do you do with the money you put parking meters in and charge residents you put up a bunch of apartments and then want to parking garage and then you want to increase the taxes nope nope nope”

Reasonable price for paddle boats, canoe, etc. Staff was super helpful with getting the paddle boat in/out of the water and letting us switch with 3 adults and 5 kids for a 2-hour rental. There are pavilions with picnic tables. Playground with large slide for big kids. Sand volleyball court (where we built sandcastles). There is a paved, easy trail for a walk by the lake. Will go back for sure!!”

“As the name says Glen oak park this one is next to Glen oak elementary school. This is very beautiful park you won’t find much trees but you will see lot of green grass and nice views in the evenings. This one has sledge which is mainly open in winters for sledging in snow. Apart from that it has soccer field, kids playgrounds , shelters with barbecue. This park has also small ponds which gives nice views and has small nice bridges. Enough parking place and nice path for walkers, biking and dog walkers. There is small section of woods which consist of mud tracks for walker or bikes. This is surrounded by communities so it’s quite and calm.”

“This park has everything you need to camp. Tent lots, camper lots, a beach, playgrounds, trails, a lake,, a drop off for small boats, a disc golf course, and much more. The camp grounds are the usual. We brought our baby and family. They had a blast. The lot next to us brought 3 dogs that barked everytime a person went by. They were the only bad part of the trip. This place is awesome. As for the disc golf course. It is a little more technical. There are a lot of tight holes, almost all holes. There are three pads per hole. We played the full 18. It is a fun course. There is some variation in elevation, so the course doesn't play flat the whole time. It is a beautiful course. The only thing that can be improved are the signs.. The signage is a little misleading. Some lead you astray and some tree have like 6 signs pointing all over the place. Remember, there are three pads per hole so finding your pad is sometimes difficult. This course is very fun. Do give yourself enough time to play. This is a bigger course and there is a par 5. Exciting right? I recommend this course to intermediate players and up.”
