“I enjoyed JJ's Corner immensely! After tasting some fries, which were tasty, I had the Catfish Alexandra (with a side of fries because...why not!), and it did not disappoint! The sauce was so flavorful that it made the bed of rice its own meal! This is a very spacious, nicely arranged establishment. I went on a Friday, there was no cover, no fee to park, and the DJ played the perfect mix of 90s, Blues, Rap, and R&B. There was never a dull moment. The patio party vibe was even more vibrant than the slightly more reserved atmosphere on the inside. I will mention that during my visit, the "specials" pricing was not up-to-date. They were handwritten on ad-board so can easily be updated. Confirm the true price of your selection when placing an order to avoid any surprises. The actual cost of my meal was not outrageous and totally worth it. It just minimizes confusion and enhances the customer experience when information is accurate. I certainly believe those who enjoy a night out of good music, food, and a mixed aged crowd should add JJ's Corner to their "places I want to go" list, and check them out! The earlier your arrival, the better your parking choice, as with most places. Friday's are free.....that means Saturdays are likely not 🙃😉.”

“Went last night to try this place out because I love wings. I will be completely honest, everything from the appetizers to the wings were amazing. The fried pickles were crispy and not all oily. The wings were a great size compared to other wing places. The sauces were on point and even the waffle fries were crispy and not soggy. My wife had the tamango drink and she loved the flavor. So I will recommend to try this place to everyone. This will be my new go to wing spot.”

“It was another fuel stop, driving back to Houston from Copper Mountain, when I noticed this food truck serving Indian food. I figured I’d give it a shot, being 15 hours into the drive. Well, it was an awesome decision. The chicken curry was fantastic. It may not be until next year that I drive through Rhome, TX again, but I’ll make it a point of stopping here to eat again. Even the naan was really good.”

“We have been driving by this place for too long! Really glad that we finally stopped by and celebrated my daughter's birthday here with dinner and wine. Kris with a "K" was awesome, and made sure my daughter's night was special with a surprise b-day cheesecake for her! He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the wines too. They had a musician playing outside where we sat with other groups. Kind of has country friends house mellow party vibes and the overall atmosphere was very casual as their name suggests. We didn't know what we wanted so we got a cheese platter and a couple wine floats that had samples for figuring out what you like. The wines were all pretty good, but unique to me as I have not had much experience with Texas wines. Different, but good. We had a pepperoni pizza and was good and reasonably priced. They do have inside seating but we were able to enjoy the outside seating with the evening starting to set. I am not sure what they do when it gets hot, but if the weather permits, its a great place to hangout!”

“This “El Arquito” location is located within a Shell Gas Station. Off the top, there’s practically no sitting room. There were maybe 4 stools in front of the restaurant store front where, if you catch it at a slow time, you might be able to sit, but we are in our car. They offer a 10 tacos de trompo (al pastor ) for $20. We got that and asked for salsas and in the gas station portion of the building. The tacos al pastor were great. Be advised, maybe it’s just my palate but I enjoy a good little crispiness on the al pastor. Whereas I’ve soon others say it was burnt, that wasn’t my experience at all. I struggled to find good non Tex-Mex tacos in Fort Worth, this was the first little taste of more traditional tacos in the city. The lady preparing the tacos did NOT skimp out on the meat, each taco was either full or overflowing with meat. My only gripe is that she gave us sliced radishes and cucumber which covered the diced onions and cilantro, but the grilled onions and lime were really good. The salsa was a little spicy, but enjoyable, not too hot at all, I would’ve liked it a little spicier but this was good. The ambiance I can’t speak too much about because, it was a gas station.”

We parked in a big lot with construction, across the street (behind the shopping center). 🛑BEWARE that parking can really be a nightmare at that location‼️ Food was great, as always. This newer Campisi’s is 100° different in the original location on Mockingbird. This is a small, bright, open restaurant with a lovely covered patio. It has super comfortable chairs at the small dining tables. It has more of a hip vibe to it. Clearly, this location would appeal more to a younger generation. Although, the outdoor patio is lovely for young and old.💖”

“Such a fun spot! And so many picture opportunities!! We needed a place for brunch before our son’s baseball game and saw this place with very high ratings so of course we had to try it ourselves. Let me just say…amazed! The host that greeted us, took our order, then went to the kitchen and cooked us some deliciousness!!! HE was so nice and friendly. We even chatted about how he made the food! We love a good breakfast but this was even better! It was the food we love with a twist and we didn’t need to add anymore flavors to make it better, it was perfect! We will definitely keep this on our list when we are back in the area!”
