“Beautiful🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺 the only thing is missing is a toilet for the people that visit. I hope in the near future the park will put one for the people that come visit. It's a wonderful place to walk your dog or your animals. To sit and read a book or even take some sun in the summer. Just sitting under a tree and spending time with family is wonderful.”

“We call it the blue park. It has swings and a play structure with slides and monkey bars and a bridge. Also a covered picnic table and a large open field for soccer games or football or frisbee or maybe even practicing your chipping skills for golf. There is on street parking most of the time, but it is near a school so some school hour parking is restricted. Almost never crowded.”

“Freedom Park is a wild find for any Mountain biker. The loop C has an obstacle ever 100 yards, seems that way. The trail has table tops, half table tops, small to large jumps, skinny rails, dirt jumps, gap jumps, and a few others. Most MTB trails similar to this are paid. The trail apps rate this as blue/intimidate. I would say, the big jump is a black diamond rated jump. That's my opinion. One last part, the trails flow with quick ups/downs and tight turns. The trail is super smooth and in great shape. They have great restrooms and a bike wash too. I could ride the Loop C and Loop A all day.”

“Suffolk Festival of Lights is a decent display if you live nearby. It is free and may take 10 minutes maximum to see. Lights are set up along the entry and the circle where pavilions are located. It is not as impressive as the ones you have to pay for in Norfolk and Va Beach. It is nice, but I wouldn’t drive a long way to see it.”

“Great park with so much to offer. Dog park is a great spot to bring your pup and get to know some people. Fun playground for the kids. When the weather is right the splash pad is a good place to cool off. Big pavilion with restrooms.”

“Stroller friendly - powerful, peaceful trail with distinct monuments throughout. The trail is not a loop, but can be looped with the other short trails behind the museum. Sometimes the trail splits without naming which trail is which, but the whole area is small enough that it doesn’t pose an issue. There are benches every quarter mile or so.”

“This is Chesterfield's all encompassing park, offering a wide variety of activities that cannot be found elsewhere in the county. Most of the amenities in the park are well maintained, though the park as a whole is a little bit outdated. The Nature Center is worth checking out if you're lucky enough to be there when it's open, and the trails are well marked, suitable, and more prevalent than most systems in the county. Unfortunately, the pond on the far side of the park suffers from overfertilization and lacks very many good viewpoints along the adjacent trail.”

“Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a few days in one of the cabins, we loved it. The cabins are nice and staff are so sweet and helpful, the pamphlet they give you has local restaurants they recommend and we tried a few and all were great. The view of the lake when you wake up is amazing and also it has plenty of fish to catch from the bank, dock, or using the boat the ramp to go out on the water. I would recommend this site to anyone looking for a nice getaway with great people, especially if you love fishing.”

“I’ve been ordering from B&B for the past five years. Their service is outstanding, they ship their products in a timely manner and their bulbs have performed wonderfully for me each year. Specifically, the anemones and pre-cooled items (I’m in Fl, zone 9) like daffs and muscari have been amazing! They also have tons of hidden gems that will blow you away. So grateful for them!”

“The turf field is very nice and in good condition. There are multiple grass sports fields available. There are no plumbed bathrooms, however, there are porta pottys available. There is also a rather large community garden on one end of the park. There are two parking lots and ~100 spots.”
