“This section of the trail is one of the better sections we have been told. I took kids with a kid trailer and started at south main street in Lake mills and rode about 2 miles to the park on east side on lake (maybe it is called Korth Park). It has a playground and bathrooms. A good break for kids and then went back the same way.”

“My family and I LOVED camping here. The campground itself is absolutely beautiful with all of its tall pine trees. We all enjoyed the pool, mini golf and playground area. We visited the campground store often for snacks and souvenirs for the kids. The showers were probably the most well kept I’ve ever experienced in a campground. The location was perfect. Only a few minutes away from all of the Dells attractions as well as Mirror Lake and Devils Lake State Parks. Highly recommend!”

“We always have a nice time walking on the Ice Age Trail. Being the first warm day after winter, it was very wet in places. We turned around when we reached a giant puddle that spanned the entire path. I was sad to see copious amounts of dog poop along the path. We had to always be watching our step. Pretty gross but we still had a good walk!!”

“They are so busy! It's a great place to get all your garden flowers and more! They have wagons and carts to help you carry your stuff. They are constantly out there to answer questions and keep things organized. We go every year, multiple times for the seasonal flowers.”

“What a beautiful small campground with a great view of Beaver Dam Lake. Most of the sites were nice and large. The grounds were very well maintained and the cleanliness of the bathroom/shower house was impeccable. We camped at this park for a week. We especially really appreciated the warm hospitality from the host Kevin. He made himself visible many times a day when taking walks through the campground and stopping to chat to see if we had any needs. We even ended up meeting some local residents that happened to be from our home town due to his word of mouth.”

“Great place to take the little ones. Great views for the adults, playground, (level/easy) trails, camping and shelters for gatherings. Seriously, some of the best views in (near) Dane County - had no idea we had such high ground here.”

“A couple of friends and I rode out there on our motorcycles from about 40 mins away looking for new spots we haven't been before.. Ended up being a very well kept park with some pretty nice scenery.. We enjoyed our time there very much just hanging out and reminiscing. Will def plan another ride out there in the future and maybe even bring the wives along with us 🤪🤣”

“Beautiful, serene and infinitely more then it seems. A place where live concerts happen. Where there is a beautiful marble monument in commemoration of those who passed in WW1. Where you can see turtles, cranes and ducks waddle about. Where you can fish or on the same dock see the raindrops hit the water be transported to a painting by Monet. Where at night u can see teens practice skateboarding and messing around with there peers. Where countless dogs and family play, learn and live. Some parks are simple affairs like the dull wings of a moth others are vibrant and alive like a Morphinae.”

“Large fenced area for my dog Daisy to run around and clean trails for humans to roam! There are numerous stations with poop bags so there’s no excuse not to pick up after your dog. The re are two first aid stations, several sitting/ resting benches, a separate area for the little ankle biters, a basic restroom in the lot and plenty of water bowls throughout the lot! Everyone we met was extremely friendly! This will definitely be our favorite stop next time we’re in Janesville!”

“Named after the historic concrete ridge below the bluff, Meadow Ridge is a treasure to those who want to hike, play in meadows, play basketball, swing, walk along creeks and even climb bluffs! I consider this a dream place. Don't forget, it is connected to Cherokee Marsh Mendota Unit, which is just as magical. You can get to it from Meadow Ridge simply by walking across Sauthoff Road where you will see the Cherokee Marsh trail head. We are lucky to have this place. Please keep it clean! Please do not trash it. The meadow and cliffs and streams are just beautiful!”

“Great big dog park, perfect for taking a walk on the trails and letting your dog(s) off leash and follow along. Dogs here tend to be well behaved and their people nice. Would avoid this one if your dog doesn't have good recall- it's all fenced in but HUGE so you'd struggle getting them back. The place is well maintained and all in all a great place to go with your dogs.”
Address: County Rd S, Osceola, WI 54020, USA
“I hiked the Osceola loop through this area. They have done a nice job of removing the buckthorn from some areas allowing you views through the woods. The trail has a few signature points, a portion along a rock outcropping, a small portion on the bluff with a pretty limited view of the river this time of year. I saw a few spur trails that seemed to lead along the ridges of a few bluffs. I probably would have given this 3 stars until I walked through a sea of trout lilies, although none of them were in bloom.”

“Great wildlife area to get away from the crowds at state parks. The trails are not moved very often, so don't expect well groomed trails. The wildlife area consists of prairie hills surrounded by tamarack swamps and cattail marshes.”

“Love that it isn't woodchips but soft rubber material. Playground is cute and not too high. The field next to it is nice for kids to just run like crazy. Nice covered area too”
