“Wow. I was glad I made reservations for 4 on a Thursday lunch for my brother's birthday. They saved us the last table available. There was a company lunch just getting seated. It was great to put an order in before the large group started ordering as well. We ordered palata with chicken curry, salt and pepper calamari, Burmese-style chicken curry, village catfish with sauce on the side, and 3 orders of brown rice. A favorite was the palata, crispy and buttery, the sauce was tasty, great with rice. The calamari was nice and crisp and so was the catfish. Having the sauce separate allowed us to add our own amount and the fish did not get soggy too quickly. The Burmese-style curry was fine as well, it had a tomato base to it. All curries we requested was medium spice. Service was nice and efficient. We were able to request addiltional rice as needed and someone brought us more water.”

“Ordered the Grilled Chicken Taco Salad and a Large Horchata as my drink.. Cost $24... The salad was good, tasted fresh and the Horchata was descent, not the best but also not the worst I've had.. They did put a lot of ice on the drink , FYI. The chips were ok and the salasa did not have the Mexican kick, tasted like Costco brand salasa made in a factory.. “Today we ate here for the first time. It won’t be the last time. They are currently operating out of a food truck until repairs to the restaurant is completed. We ordered burgers. They were huge. And get this, the meat tasted like real deal hamburger meat. I know hard to believe when so many places are selling those frozen processed patties. We asked staff about how they are made it is always fresh never frozen. A hamburger was $6 and cheese burger was $7. Very reasonably priced. The staff was very nice too.”

“What a fantastic place. It's different from a traditional restaurant. If I have this correct Rosemary started by her love to cook and feed family and friends. It took off from there and really never lost the charm of cooking for family and friends. This was my first time there and everyone working there is family. Mike cooks the pizza in a wood fired oven seen in the picture. His cousins Nadine and Kristen are the most wonderful waitresses. Also in the pictures are a picture of the front and back of the menu. We sat in the barn as you see in the pictures filled with round tables and a couple booths. It was so cool and it started to rain and the metal roof sounded so nice and cozy. There's tables outside in the lawn so on a nice evening you could sit there and there's a couple tables outside of the barn under the porch roof. There's also another separate pavilion area in between the barn and the wood fired oven that you can sit at. I'm not sure about indoor dining. I think they have it but I'm not sure because this was my first time. The pizza was excellent. We had the margarita which was delicious and I got the diablio which was sweet and spicy. It was so good! However, my wife liked the margarita better and didn't really care for the sweet and spicy. We also tried the chicken wings which are done in olive oil, rosemary and garlic and we're excellent. We saw others getting family salads which is just what it is, a big salad for the table to share and meatball parmesan which I was told is really good. We will definitely go back. It's cash only. And BYOB. They do not charge a corking fee and you can bring your own dessert. And I think you're allowed to bring your own non-alcoholic beverage (water,soda) They don't want you bringing other food. Just dessert is allowed. Also, if you bring a bottle of wine, bring your own glasses. They had some clear plastic cups to accommodate us but said sometimes they run out. It's paper plates and plastic utensils which don't bother me. It's all part of the charm of the place. However, I read a review before we went and a gentleman was disappointed with the atmosphere. It is seasonal for eating there. However, I believe they still do takeout all year around, but I would call first. It also gets quite busy. However the night we were there the weather was calling for rain so it wasn't quite as busy as normal. You can make reservations by calling them at 4:00. I hope you give it a try and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.”

“This is a beautiful gem in Port Aransas. The food was so yummy. Pictures include the lamb special and the shrimp and quail appetizers. It's a breezy outdoor patio that is dog friendly and has a beautiful sunset. I recommend that you make a reservation this place can get busy later in the day. They can only do party's of 6 and under but the atmosphere is worth it and that definitely helps keep this place as spaced and the experience as personal as possible. The staff was amazing, Tom gave great recommendations on how to get the special cooked ( medium rare) oh my goodness it fell off the bone and he had us laughing and enjoying our vacation all the more after a day on the water. I will 100% be back. I also loved that a lot of locals were walking in as we were leaving and they knew our server by name. This makes me feel like this is a every time experience. Can't wait to try the creme brulee and the tuna martini next time ( tables near us recommend or ordered and you could hear there love) could not say more good this about this place.”

“This was the first time I has been in this sports bar, I had been there a few times when it was the Riverhouse and myself and my husband was pleasantly surprised. There was one older couple and a couple other gentlemen there. We ordered the fried green beans and 1/2 lb cheeseburgers and friend fried and they were juicy and very good, everything was fresh and delicious. The waitress was the bartender as well and she kept our drinks filled and was a breath of fresh air very personable and all around nice. In this day and age customer service is pretty much non existent. Would highly recommend and will go back”

“First time going to noodle world after an 8 hour hike with my brother and i. The first impression was how open the place was, nice decor with the atmosphere. When we ordered our dishes. I was a little shocked to see a drink menu containing smoothies, a great delight for being in the sun all day. Food was tasty, not too bland and not salty. The appetizer was perfect. My egg noodle soup with seafood and wonton made it appealing to the eye and better down the pallet. The only not interesting feel to the place was that the restroom was outside 40 ft from the exit in the rear. Maybe it's because it's an old building. It's not adequate when it rains. Overall, I was satisfied with customer service and the tasty noodles. The coconut smoothie I ordered was just perfect.”
