“Being originally from Philly I stopped at this place and seen on the menu that they had "Philly" cheesesteak... hopefully I don't get hate mail for this from Philadelphia but this is is one of only two places in America when it says it's a Philly cheesesteak it actually tastes like a Philly cheesesteak! The picture shown is half of a cheesesteak and I have a pretty big hand. The staff was amazing and the owner came and talked to us and attended to every needy thing we needed. If I ever make it out that way again I'm definitely going here!”

“TL;DR: Excellent food and customer service in an inviting atmosphere. Situated in a sideward-facing strip on a major road, it’s easy to miss P&P, unless you know it’s there. I was lured to P&P by a social media post showing off their delicious Haitian patties. The small restaurant is clean and modern with speakers playing hip-hop and R&B from the golden 90s-2000s era. I was tempted to try the stewed chicken but everything is made to order and I didn’t feel like waiting for an hour, so I went with the griot (pork) and black rice (slight upcharge). I also ordered a half dozen patties (chicken and beef) to take home. My meal was hot, fresh and flavorful. The meal came with plantains (not the sweet ones) and a small serving of pikliz. To wash down my food I ordered the “Haitian lemonade,” which is a slightly sweet lemonade with a hint of vanilla. I would return.”

“This place is great for catfish..the staff there are very friendly and are attentive. This is your grandpa's catfish place lol. Usually, what I have noticed is that the people that come there tend to be older people crowd. Not to say that there are not younger people that eat there. Just seems more of a down-home country feeling where a family would go out to eat after church or something. This place is famous for their fried catfish. I have been going there for years. I drive almost two hours just to go and eat there. That's how good it is. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes down home cooking.”

“There is a bit of a story to this tail. We went on the weekend of my wife and I anniversary and we always go to a steakhouse to to celebrate. We checked out 4 other "chain restaurants" that an over 2 hour wait time. This was around 5:30 pm. We found this place after finding on tic tok this recommended place in the IE. We came no wait time. Plenty of table to sit at. Service was very kind. Frequently check up on you. It took a bit to get our dinner roles and plates for the appetizers but other than that no complaints. The steaks were very good despite my wife have hers made well done, since she was pregnant. It was on the pricier side but it had a very unique small town, hole in the wall vibyou can't get anywhere else. The chef even came out to see all the table and see how we were doing. Over all we will definitely be coming back but next time I'm trying the ribs. ;)”

The only thing I will say is that it's a restaurant with very little character and that's okay. This isn't a date night spot. It has the materials of a chiptole and the ambience to match. That's ok.”
