“This Starbucks and all the employees are truly the highlight of my days. I work from home, and sometimes this is the only in-person human interaction I get some days. They’re always so sweet and will take the time to chat with me if they’re not super busy. I’ve been trying to go in and work once a week for an hour or so—just to get out of my house, and it’s always so chill with good music. As for the menu items, they always have the food I like, and their black iced tea and strawberry frappes are unmatched. At a corporate level, I love the reusable cups you can buy and the app. My only wish is that they’d add puppachinos for mobile orders.”

We went earlier today for their breakfast and were also pleads surprised. They are highly generous in servings and sauces. The jaimaca horchata is so fresh and good too. Elizabeth and Kris (lady taking orders) were extremely friendly and sweet and made an effort to actually get to know me as a customer and talk to me versus just taking an order. “This had become our favorite breakfast place in the Charlotte area. We have tried several dishes and they are all delicious! Their fried chicken and potatoes are so good throughout their dishes. The fried chicken is bland like most chicken and waffle dishes you have at other breakfast restaurants. Their grits were flavorful. “We had a wonderful experience at Stokes tonight thanks to Sara! We were a big party and ended up adding 2 extra people and she adapted to our needs with a smile and a great attitude. We also needed separate checks which isn’t ever easy for a server but Sara handled it with ease! She was always making sure we had everything we needed, which again isn’t easy for a server with multiple tables on a Friday night, but she was such a pro. First off they warn you in the description this will feed 2 normal people and they were not kidding at all! The fact the serving was large is only part of what makes this a great choice; the gravy, breading and meat had had great flavor. The onion rings were hand made and tasted amazing! As for the food, my wife and I started off with gyoza. It was perfectly fried as they had a nice crunch. My wife had the egg drop soup and I had the hot and sour. Both soups had great flavor but I preferred the hot soup. As for our meals my wife went with the cashew chicken lunch special. This dish had a truly great flavor. The contrasting textures added a great dimension. I went with the fried pork chop in Peking sauce. I am truly a fan of pork chops, especially fried. They were perfectly fried, they were tender and with the sauce a little messy but we’ll work it. I can’t wait until my wife and I can go back to try something else.”

“Have passed by here many times and finally stopped in for breakfast. We were greeted with a "Good Morning" as soon as we stepped in the door a sure hometown vibe. The place is neat and clean with additional seating on a covered pavilion outdoors. Breakfast was the usual diner menu..eggs, biscuits and gravy, pancakes etc. My omelet was full of very tasty ham and was nice and fluffy my husband got eggs over medium with bacon and hashbrowns. Both of our meals were good and cooked just right, the toast could have been crispier but I find that with a lot of restaurants. Price is comparable to other small towns in our area so not a bad deal for the money.”
