“I've visited Comal Crawfish a few times now, and while the food is always outstanding, I have consistently faced one issue: the wait time for the food to arrive. The restaurant is usually quite busy, so I understand a longer wait time, but it can be frustrating. Our waitress this time, wears a golden necklace maybe of her name, wasn't very welcoming and seemed to have a frown on her face throughout our interaction. Though the first unwelcoming gestures had concreted in my mind I want to point out that she did check up on us several times during our meal. The ambiance of the place is laid back and simple—not something you'd describe as "awesome." The restrooms are okay but could use more frequent cleaning. Despite these drawbacks, the food at Comal is fantastic. We've consistently ordered the crawfish and snow crab, and it has been delicious every time. They offer both outdoor and indoor seating, which is nice. I'm giving this restaurant 4 stars solely because the food is worth coming back for. If they could improve on the wait times and the service, it would be an even better experience.”
