“2nd review 2022~I chose New York Burger Bar again because I have been here a few times and like the food and the atmosphere but tonight was different. We sat at the bar for drinks and dinner instead of the dining room. It was a nice switch up because we had the perfect bartender named Nino. He was very attentive and quite charismatic. He really added some unexpected fun to our night. I had the Greek salad with grilled chicken & red wine vinaigrette which was so fresh and very delicious. I took half home. Yes, I know it's a burger bar but I wanted a salad. My friend had the Belmont steak burger & her daughter ordered the Mac attack burger. They both enjoyed their meals. I wish I got her name so her boss could see this. Speaking of her boss, he brought a free sample of their newest item, pork wings with Asian Sauce for us to try and they were absolutely delicious. My son ordered the Mac attack Burger, my sister got the grilled chicken with avocado sandwich and I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with coleslaw. Everything was excellent. “Cute little place in Okemah, OK that used to be a service station. The service was warm and attentive. The portions were generous and oh my so delicious! House cut French fries, house made ranch, and the meat was cooked perfectly. Papa and Mama work tirelessly to bring quality BBQ to the table. The sweet tea is VERY sweet but refreshing so if you usually do half and half, do like 1/4-3/4. “Sushi Heroes is my go to spot to fix my sushi needs when I want to indulge and not feel unsatisfied. They are a ghost kitchen that serves single rolls to platters and as you can see here I usually get the platter to feed multiple people at once. This is a good tray to bring to a potluck with friends & coworkers. The sushi is always fresh and they got a wide variety of rolls named all superhero’s from marvel and dc. If you want there’s benches in front you can just order, pick-up, and eat right in front. However depending on the time of day you may get some sun in your face. This location is in a warehouse plaza that has what looks to be some sort of machine business next door so it may confuse you so follow the gps and look for the signs. They separate the type of rolls into categories like fusion rolls, avenger rolls, side kick rolls, etc. So when ordering a platter the price will vary. Roughly 40-80 for 5 rolls & 125-140 for 9 rolls. My only issue with this is because majority of rolls have nicknames to them, when ordering in the app it doesn’t really tell you what’s inside the roll, only the name. So it’s wise look at their menu first to see the ingredients if you order online.”

Zapp’s chips, shakes, cookies, and their $7 jar of hot peppers (best giardiniera mix you’ll find) round out the menu. Friendly staff, clean store, and a small patio. “I was very excited to book an overnight retreat for me and my husband and the anticipation was not met with any disappointment. The location along the shores of Lake Erie, with stunning views from our room, the pools, and the on-site dining were exceptional. The lobby was very welcoming and grand and we were met with friendly staff who answered all of our questions both in person and via text, which was very convenient. We appreciated the wonderful on-site amenities including a large and beautiful outdoor pool and cozy hot tub, beautifully laid out bocce, oversized chess board, corn hole, and our personal favorite - deck shuffleboard. The heated indoor pool and hot tub were also second to none, allowing comfort and amazing views, especially at sunset. Staying in a resort where the pools are actually made for swimming was a treat and we appreciated the very generous hours that allowed us to take advantage of all the on-site outdoor activities, including a fantastic dinner at the on-site lounge. Our room while just slightly worn in some ways, was very stylish, spacious, clean, and comfortable. We're so glad that we booked a room with a balcony, as we enjoyed reading and watching the water from the comfort of the outdoor seating. We loved the complimentary bike rentals that allowed us to quickly explore the next door park and enjoy a beautiful morning pedal through town.These types of services make you feel like your stay is extra special. The s'mores package that we received at checkin to use at night around the many patio gas fire pits also made our stay extra special. Even though we live within an hours distance of The Lodge, we feel our stay was well worth the money spent, as we felt like we were on a fantastic vacation without having to travel far. We highly recommend the experience as a quick get away for locals or for those traveling a far distance. We cannot wait to return!”

The tortilla chips were hot and fresh, the salsa they bring to the table is on the spicy side but I love spicy so it was perfect. I got two asada tacos and two beef tongue tacos. All of it was hot a fresh and the meat portions were huge, which is of course a great plus! Also it was the most tender beef tongue I have ever had! My daughter loved it too. Only *slight* complaint is not enough onions and cilantro comes on the tacos and there’s an extra cost for more. However we definitely will be going back to try more items!”
