“Well it was just so nice! A hometown restaurant with really good food and the dinner portions were much larger than we were used to. I mean, when you get a catfish strips dinner with sides of house salad and potato salad, you expect a small bowl of three item salad and a 1/2 cup of potato salad. My heavens! the potato salad was filling a big soup bowl, and my salad was layers in a big pasta bowl. The catfish was crunchy, sweet, not greasy, and filled a 10-inch plate. Husband had a cheese burger with onion rings piled up. Said it would have been best if they used Duke's instead of miracle whip for the mayo. Oh, we thought we needed a starter, so we ordered fried mushrooms, delicious, but oh so many. Had to bring most of everything home for later. Definitely will be back!”

I love supporting small and local companies and this was one of those. The waiter, who I found out later is the owner's daughter, did a great job. Not knowing beforehand that she was the owner's daughter was good because it allowed me to make a neutral judgement. It's a cozy place. I eat tilapia wherever it's available and they had one on the menu. It was great and very comparable to others I've had. This is a great place with great food 👍❤”

Even got to meet the owner and everything. He was very nice and even made our orders for us. So here's a bit about this place. It's low carb friendly, keto friendly, and its a diabetics paradise. The owner if I'm not mistaken is a diabetic himself (Tony made a friend). Everything there was made fresh and was super delicious. The pizza was my favorite and if no one told you, you would never know that the pepperoni, sausage, and bacon on the pizza was all Turkey meat. I was very happy to leave this black owned restaurant not feeling like I shouldn't have eaten this. The inside was very clean and the food is top quality. You get what you pay for. We were first served with side dishes and Miso soup. I liked the horseradish the best and the owner made sure I took an extra side of horseradish home with me. Decided to try the Beef Burrito, Seafood Hot Stone Bowl and Bulgogi Hot Stone Bowl. At the end we were offered Muchi Korean Donuts on the house, not yet on the menu, owner wanted us to try them. The restaurant itself is very clean and new. The owners really take pride in the business which we saw in service and tasted in our food.
