“Beautiful and quiet location, we followed a game trail down to the creek to look for arrowheads, although we came up empty-handed in that regard, we still had a pleasant hike. There were lots of mushroom species to see and we found some various animal bones which we left where they lay.”

“My son went there for fireworks. Weak display, not as good as Middleburg Hts. Plenty of space really spread out. Pavilion, small picnic area, porta potties”

“One of my favorite parks. Sure, not a 5 star but consistently a cool little place to go. Not very big but has a great feel. It’s like two different little forests right next to each other. Each has a very different feel. The western part has such unique character. Kind of Tolkien-y. I expect gnome to pop out of the ground at any time. If you live in the area definitely worth checking out.”

“Awesome sights and a really cool cave. I must warn you, for those who don't do much trail walking, the trip back up can be a tough one. Bring your best walking shoes and a camera. I would highly recommend the visit”

“An excellent shelter had an excellent park. A good place to take a rest break or to have a small event. Be sure to walk around, however, and enjoy the surrounding area. Close to lots of good restaurants.”

“We stayed in one of the small cabins with our two toddlers for an event and we had a great experience. The cabin was cozy and it was great to have a mini fridge and private bath with our little ones. The bed and pillows were also really comfortable. The grounds were great and had plenty of room for a variety of outdoor and indoor events going on at the same time. The owner was really great and we enjoyed the on site pizza place. We are looking forward to coming back again and checking out some more of their events.”

“We love this place. The mink hollow bridge is so nice and the water that runs beneath it is so calming. Christmas Rock is pretty cool too. God bless y'all. Be safe! Since no one seems to be in place to update the park closure, I will change it as soon as they finish the bridge and reopen the park. Cleercreak and the surrounding caves are awesome alternatives. :-)”

“My favorite park. Sunday the trains were running and the excitement on the kids faces was priceless. There is a great play area for the kids. My wife and I hiked 2.63 miles on the rabbit run trail. Very beautiful although a bit muddy in places. Check this place out!”

“I absolutely loved my two-hour ride with my guide Theresa. Two hour rides are $70 and you get a beautiful ride through the hills of their property. There are some steep uphills and downhills to make the ride fun. Theresa is an excellent guide and I felt relaxed and safe. Great for all experience riders. I’ve already recommended to anyone asking for a great place to ride!”

“What a beautiful drive down through Lake Rockwell Road along the water. And I had to stop and get a picture of October's full moon as it reflected off the water.”

“Just happened to be in Columbus and dropped into the Blacklick Metro Park. The park is very large. Nice nature center that is staffed. Walking trails and shelters throughout. Looked like they have a disc golf course as well. Would like to go back in the summer to walk the trails.”

“Great place when it's not crowed. (We do not go during busy times... DON'T DO IT). $22 for an adult and child resident to get in. Way more money for non residents. The grounds were clean. The park needed more tubes for the lazy river and slides. Concession stand was reasonably priced and food was good. The safety breaks every hour were good and kept at 15 minutes. Lifeguards were professional and made everyone follow rules. (On non busy times) It is $40 to rent a cabana.”

“Great place to chill and has exercise and some nature opportunities as well I'd give it ten stars if I could !”

“This park is absolutely gorgeous, especially in the fall. There is a pavillion, walking trails, fishing pond, swing set, as well as walking and nature trails. The walking trail portion is paved. The pond boasts friendly swans and geese looking for handouts. The only downside to this park, and I know this doesn't affect everyone, is the lack of play equipment for small children. Regardless, we always manage to have fun here though.”

“Park is very good and plenty of space to play both youngsters and youth, the program was good in amphitheater, spacious picnic area, restrooms are neatly maintained.”

“Our grandkids really like to go here as lots of climbing, slides, bridges, swings and area for smaller kids to play. It's showing some wear and some balance items are not off the ground anymore. There is sand area but with Covid there is not much use of it currently. A few years ago there were sand toys in it. The kids call it "The Castle Park" as it looks like a castle and has sleeping dragon on front.”

“Quiet park with lakes for fishing. Great for watching wildlife or a quiet dog walk. Paved path starts right at the parking lot. Path is handicap accessible and could be traveled by motorized chairs or scooters.”

“We took our dog here during the golden hour. There is plenty of conveniently located parking spots throughout the park. The trails aren't paved which was nice for our dog and we got to see people riding their horses which was pretty unique! Just watch out for horse poop! We explored the park for a while, taking our time walking around the pond, exploring the fairy garden and just generally taking in the beautiful scenery on a December afternoon. Our dog had a great time. There is also a dog park on the premises which was like icing on the cake for our pup! Lots to do and see! Highly recommend!”

“There's a playground and a tennis court. There's also a basketball court. They also have baby swings and normal swings too. Considering how small the playground is it has several slides that are varying in length. the playground and swings are built in a sandbox.”

“Camping here for memorial day weekend. Rained buckets first few nights. Most sites do not have solid service for your camper, so it was a mess! Water stations are not close by either. You have to drive to middle of camp park. However, there are a few sites that have full hookups. Handicap sites have concrete pads. Park is beautiful! Small lake for canoes and kayaking. Beautiful disc golf course and hiking!”

“Park is attached to a school, but it's clean and well maintained. Has a fenced in area in case your little one likes to takeoff/elope. Also has a larger portion for bigger kids and handi-friendly/adaptive swings. Great for everyone, but super nice to find a park that has some accomodations for special needs kiddos.”

“Cenci Park is beautiful park that has a lake and a pond. The Fairfield Heritage Trail goes through the park which connects to other parks. The pond side does not have a trail but more of a path. The lake has a paved walking trail that goes around the entire lake. Fishing is allowed but you might need a fishing license. It also has a shelter house. There isn't any playground equipment, only one portable restroom and the parking area is small.”
Address: 2700 Buell Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45251, USA
“Had no idea there was a walking trail here that does a short loop through a very pretty stand of remarkably mature Sugar Maple, Beech, Ash, Oak and Hickory. Loved the native prairie habitat on the way in. Asclepias, Rudbeckia, and Echinacae all stood out.”
Address: 550 Crouse Chapel Rd, Chillicothe, OH 45601, USA
“I learned today the difference between a fen and a bog.Kinnikinnick Fen is an interesting place. The trails are well maintained and mostly mowed grass. It is a decent size area that has observation areas of the wetlands. Kinnikinnick Creek winds its way through the park and there are some access paths that go down to the creek. The trail (there is only one) is easy. There isn't any restrooms, but other than that an enjoyable hike.”

“We love visiting here. There are never very many people here. The playground is nice, the trails are well marked, and the dog park is great too.”
