“Absolutely beautiful park with a wide selection of activities. For the more leisurely walkers or fitness-focused runners, there are several lovely paved paths through light woods and around the pond. For the nature lovers and hikers, choose from the several long gravel trails through the dense and tall forest, winding every which way. For families with little ones, a playground, picnic shelter, and soccer field will keep them well-occupied! My husband and I live near here and we walk the trails at least every couple of days, if not more often.”

“Had a great visit during the Civil War Reenactment weekend. We have been to the farm four times now and just love the experience, but this last visit was the icing on the cake. The entire village was an encampment and we got to enjoy it with family. Good times, and will definitely go back again. Only some minor issues, we were not able to find where they were giving the "historical" talks, and we missed them. “I was not expecting to find a park here, and I certainly wasn't anticipating it to be so interesting and beautiful! There's roughly a mile of trails, if that matters to you, but more striking are the gardens in the center of the park and the ruins hidden throughout the nearby woods. This place was fascinating and eerie. The only downside is the prevalence of poison ivy. It's not on the path, but don't wander unless you're paying attention.”

“We last minute needed to put an extra dog in with two others and the owners were very understanding and provided care to not one but three of our dogs. It is very obvious the owners care about dogs a lot and provided loving company to them while we were away on our vacation. They even provided pictures of our “kids” during the week, which was great! We hope to board again with them in the future!”

“Great environment. Friendly staff. Happy animals. A truly wonderful experience where you can experience a pleasant well kept environment and lovely animals. The staff had great recommendations and were super friendly and welcoming. We got to pet the cows (Maggie, Lola, Dot and many more), the sheep shearing event was already over sadly. The goats and bunnies were lively and allowed us a lot of time to enjoy their furry goodness. Their tiny train tracks and little village were awesome too! All in all, great well kept environment to take the entire family on a fun animal adventure. 100% recommend!”

“Used to fish there a lot as a kid, first time there in 20 years. Also first time for my kids. We started at the bridge on Miami trace road in Rock mills and waded upstream towards Rock bridge. “New for 2022... Playground! See photos. Nice little neighborhood park. I am deducting a star only because there could be a few benches or picnic tables near the playground. The playground is nicely maintained with some swings and a slide/jungle gym structure. Definitely designed for smaller children. There is plenty of open space in the park to run around in or toss a frisbee, but not large enough for football. A very nice feature of the park is the small covered shelter. With room for about four picnic tables. There is on street parking only, but there is room for several cars.”
