The pasta dishes I have had are not worth it and I wouldn’t recommend going here for them. The pastas lack seasoning and flavor, I make much better pastas at home. However the baked pizzas, Stromboli, calzones are the best! The boneless hot wings and salad are very good also. Service is good and the staff are all very friendly. The owner more than likely knows who's writing the review. We were the only ones that did that. Carini was a super cool dude. Haven't seen him in a while not sure if someone took over, but the last few times I've been disappointed in the pizza. $21 for a large (2) topping pizza and a tip, but I've only been getting a one topping. And you can't really say anything because the pizza is already done unless you want to wait longer plus the younger guys in there now are a hit and miss sometimes they are friendly other times it seems like you're bothering them. But I still give them busy, I just stick to the One topping pizza from now on 😂”

“San Marcos in Chatham VA, is a pretty good place to get mexican food. My son really likes their Chimichanga's, so I treated him to lunch today while in the area. Their salsa is pretty standard fare, it is tasty and fairly mild. It is a puree with no veggies. I do like the fact that each person gets their own small bowl of salsa, no dealing with "double dippers" here. They do offer a lunch menu, which I ordered off of, I chose the 1/2 Chimi plate that comes with one chimichanga filled with chicken or hamburger, and your choice of rice or beans. My son ordered the Shredded chicken chimi's off the regular menu which included 2 Chimi's, and your choice of rice or beans. The portions are a little on the small side. The atmosphere is cute, not over the top, but decent, and inviting. The service is good, and your food arrives quickly. Our total luncheon bill for 2 plates, and 2 diet soda's was $33.98 before tip.”

The Bo Rounds… magnificent!! The biscuits are just as delicious as my grandmothers and that’s hard to do. It seemed to be across the board because I went to one location in NC and weeks later went to a VA location and they were out as well. “We went for the lunch buffet. All the food is excellent. I think the restaurant might be run by a husband wife couple. I figure the bread is used like white rice because it's unsalted. The food on the buffet was barely spicy for me, but it was on the upset l upper limit for my 8 year old. The fried fish is even better when hot so if you're lucky you should try to get it right when they tell l refill it. I also enjoyed the knuckle dish. I assume it wasn't pork, though I'm used to eating pork knuckle in Chinese dishes that I'm familiar with. The lamb, or maybe goat was very tender as well. We ordered a butter chicken for the kids as it wasn't on the buffet, which is the one item the kids will eat a lot of. My wife said the dine in portion seems to be more generous. All in all I think we'll return to eat there again, the prices are more reasonable, especially for kid's buffet (9.99 vs half or full price for an 8 year old who usually eats one small plate and is full). Most importantly, the food was delicious.”

I ordered the vegetarian Stromboli- enough for 4 people so be prepared. This dish was freshly prepared- olives, spinach, tomato. Broccoli, garlic- a beautiful explosion of color and flavor! It was a work of art! The garlic knots were the best I’ve had- absolutely beautiful and with the right balance of garlic (not too overwhelming) and gently oven browned to allow for that perfect crisp top with warm soft flavorful middle. My husband went with a more traditional onion rings (perfectly fried) and a sausage with sauce hot hero. Once again perfectly oven prepared. To finish the meal we enjoyed a piece of lemon cello cake. Light and flavorful with that perfect hint of tart. It is a local family owned treasure. Don’t miss it!”

“Tonight, a band was playing. I'm not sure about their name, but they were amazing! I gave the food a 4 star only because when it was brought to me. It was all cold and the brisket was very hard. The pulled pork was amazing, along with the MSc and cheese. The menu is pretty good and so are their prices. The service and the people are absolutely top-notch. They all smile and obviously care.
