“Usually good food and service. There are a variety of menu options. Service is prompt, efficient, and servers are friendly. There are some menu items I get consistently. Others I do not care for. There are daily soup menus. The list for each location can be found on their website. I prefer the French Onion soup and the mushroom with wild rice. My in-laws enjoy the vegetable soup. My friend commented that the tomato Florentine soup was her favorite. I did not like the cheesy broccoli noodle soup. Way too cheesy and very little broccoli or noodles. But my server said she loved it because she loves cheese. Perhaps you would too if you love cheese. Very good salad selection. Excellent sandwiches. I'm not a huge fan of some of their dinners but I know others that like them. I suggest trying them if you are interested. Excellent dessert selection.”

It's a busy neighborhood kind of place - everyone in the restaurant seemed to know each other, lots of chatter and visiting. We ordered the special, 4 pieces of fried chicken and 2 sides for $12.99. It was GREAT! Breast, wing, thigh and leg were savory and cooked just right. Hubby had a baked potato and I had a sweet potato, and we each had a nice salad - other sides available. No way we could each eat 4 pieces, so we came away with a takeout box. Service was friendly and attentive and thoughtful. Not fancy but a great meal.”

“So happy one of these opened in the area!! I used to get mad for chicken back in Flushing but now I don't need to travel! The restaurant is squeaky clean and the staff are wonderful. I believe the last time I was there, I was speaking to the owners. Very pleasant people. The food is even better than the Flushing location. The wings are ultra crispy outside and juicy inside, never dry. My favorite is the soy garlic flavor. The fried dumplings were fried to perfection. The army stew was uniquely amazing. So much variety and flavor in that dish. Tender noodles, kimchi, spam, tofu, and rice cakes. The kimchi fries were great as well, really went together nice. If you're of age, the mad for lager was delicious and refreshing. I had a few pints last time. Worth a trip out here for sure!”

“This place was so good. It was close to where we were staying on a camping trip and we wanted a place that everyone could get different things. The reviews were good so we came here. It was a little awkward as it seemed like only locals were in there and it was pretty quiet for a Saturday evening at dinner time with maybe 3 other tables occupied but the staff was friendly enough. We ordered an array of random items- calzone, pancakes, gyro, fries, and french toast. Every single food item was delicious and I rarely get the opportunity to say that. The fries were some of the best I have had, the portion sizes on the calzone and pancakes were ginormous... you only need one pancake. Truly. The prices on food were fantastic but their soda prices were astronomical. Overall, a great place to eat!”

“Love cheese? I do. Just as you're coming into Oakdale is this wonderful little place. The parking lot has some shaded spaces from the solar panels. We stopped by on a Sunday late afternoon. There were a few people in the store when we got there, but it wasn't crowded. We picked out some cheese and each ordered a grilled Gouda cheese on sourdough and a drink. Would have enjoyed sitting outside to have our grilled cheesy goodness, but we didn't have the time and ate in the car.”
