“I brought my son and wife to hunt at Gibbon Glade Whitetail Ranch. We had great hunts and harvested great bucks. The lodge is very nice and very clean and comfortable. The food is also very good. The owner, Chris, has extensive knowledge on managing deer and runs an exceptional deer camp. We have hunted in Africa and most Canadian Provinces as well as the western USA and you will not find a better place than Gibbon Glade WR. Thank you Chris and Tommy.”

“So why should we care about Allegheny State Park? Well, it holds the supports for the PA Turnpike and the Bessemer Railroad Bridge. (See first picture from the Turnpike bridge and a second picture showing supports from the ground level). Also, if you like exploring really undeveloped land, this is your place. Flooding frequently and having no marked trails, it's a true wilderness experience. Since access is only by watercrafts, it's good to know there's a public boat launch at Deer Creek Park. However, there is no boat rental at the park. For events at this park visit: events dcnr pa For more information: pa parks and forests (diamond)”

“This was our first visit to the Macoskey Center. What a treasure it is with its hiking trails, gardens, and exhibits highlighting the importance of sustainability education. We enjoyed Earth Fest and found the various exhibits quite interesting and well presented. There was a lovely selection of artisan crafts and a talented folk musician to round out the event. We definitely look forward to attending next year's Earth Fest.”

“Great park. Rustic area was unfortunately hosting a weekend long drunken crowd blasting music, arguing at 2 AM & spraying gravel as they made constant beer runs in their shiny pickup trucks. Could use more Ranger patrols.”

“This is nice clean area to enjoy a pretty day. There's benches and lots of space to walk around. If you have a furry best friend(dog) & you keep him on a lead you can take him to the park as it is dog friendly you're a you fish, are licensed & it's that time of year, you can make your way down to the riverbed and try to get some fish to bite. My favorite though, is the walking trail. It's wide and shaded along most of it. It's not usually that busy, especially during a weekday during school hours.”

“Tall Oaks is a wonderful place to be. I got a tent site and it was awesome. The electric worked great. The sites aren’t too close together. The showers are no more than a mile walk from any site. You definitely feel “ back in the woods” at tall oaks and it is so relaxing! Definitely recommend.”

“Clean , Serene, and a nice.place.to step back in time and marvel at the thought of what old Doylestown might have looked like. Mature trees line the driveway from the East Court St. Entrance...festive 4th of July event is a must do here during summer.”

“Super cool natural water feature. It was a bit chilly to get in the water the day we visited, but this would be an absolute blast on a hot day. It’s also just beautiful. The full slide is definitely more intimidating, but there are plenty of calmer spots of water for younger kids to play in at the top and bottom. Parking can get tight, especially in the afternoons and on the weekends. Would definitely get here early if it’s a nice day.”
