“This is a newer access to the state park and it connects to their awesome network of hiking trails at the Boundary Trail. It's a moderate climb and the hike and is mostly uphill after you leave the stream area, but it's doable for most hikers as the trail is fairly wide, mostly obstacle free and gives you access to a part of the park less used!”

There's also a mansion at the top that you can take a look at, and a very nice garden filled with local plants and flowers. The sunsets at the rear of the mansion are stellar.”

Chickies Rock Overlook is really worth the hike: It overlooks a particularly hard bend in the river, giving both a latitudinal and longitudinal view of the river.”
