Address: 20 Papermill Rd, Springfield, PA 19064, USA
“This park was absolutely gorgeous. I recommend taking the road all the way to the end, Papermill or whatever that road is called, and parking all the way at the end then taking the east side of the Creek Trail. It's a pretty steep climb actually so I don't recommend going if it's too wet or if you have trouble with that.”

“Nice facility and field especially for the young kids to play at. Was nice that they accommodated things like PA announcing and the concession stand for 7 year olds. More lights and resurfacing the overflow lot would be a suggestion. All in all was nice to play there.”

“What a nice park with soccer fields, snack bar, restrooms and kept in perfect condition by Matt and his crew from the Township. The LSVAC hosted an event there utilizing the walking trail and surrounding streets and everyone was remarking just how nice it was. So, from a long term Township resident; thank you LS Parks and Rec!!!!”

“Popular with both the two legged and four legged kiddos. The football field sized dog run is perfect for getting the zoomies out and there are two separate play areas for bigger kids and small ones. There are also bathrooms available which is nice.”

“Clean and safe. Pool goes from about 16 inches deep to about six feet deep, with an enormous splash pad, so fun for all ages, including toddlers. No diving, and no diving boards. About $5 to get in, memberships are available at the park office, just down the road from the pool. Daily group rates available. I've never ordered anything, but snack bar looks pretty sweet. Picnic tables outside. We have reserved a pavilion for birthday parties. I think they have cabins and yurts and boats available for rent. Great fishing in the lake. Would recommend without hesitation. Check out Nathaniel Cole State Park in Hurpersville, NY also. Free swimming in beautiful, clean lake, surrounded by manicured beach. Did I mention free?”

“This small tract of land mostly runs along the Tunkhannock Creek, just outside of Lackawanna State Park. It loses 1 star for ease of access, or lack thereof. There are 2 points of access. The first is a small lot on Grist Mill Rd where you have to walk 1/2 to 3/4 mile up the road past private property. There are no signs telling you where to go, or where the preserve begins/ends. Just follow Grist Mill until you reach the creek. The second access is a State Park lot off of Rt 438 & Cole Rd, park and then walk over the bridge and locate the South Branch Trail to your left and follow that through the corn field and into the woods about a mile. The trail and boundries are not well marked and you have to cross private property, so be mindful. Once in the preserve, there are some nice spots along the creek and a lot of wildlife opportunities.”

“Good stay at this camping ! quiet even if it is family/resort oriented. We decided with my friends to have a spot with a lake view, so we ended on the other side of all the activities _ was perfect for us ! Restroom are almost everywhere, which is good. We were just surprised that shower are not free. Checking again on the website and didn't see anything about it... you need quarter. Beside, it is really great location !”
