Lots of trees for shade during the hot summer months. Playground needs a lot of TLC though as in refreshing the sandbox, and mulch by the slides. Parking is ample. Overtime it’s a very nice quaint little park.”

We rented primitive walk-in sites and they were perfect, private, and relaxing! They also have a little gem mining station that our son loved, he had so much fun getting to play in the dirt and water! The pool and playground were nice and clean as well, our nephews had a blast being able to swim! Also the arcade was a nice little stop to play some pool and entertain the older kids for a bit! Buttercup Woodlands Campground

Address: 854 Evans City Rd, Renfrew, PA 16053, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“We had a really great experience with our stay here. We did not plan on stopping here, but we had camper trouble that needed work done. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from right when we arrived until we left. When we pulled up, they guided us to our spot and helped us back in (as a new-RVer this was especially helpful). When the repairs on our camper took longer than expected, they let us extend our stay even though they were fully booked. They have a great community and have all kinds of family-oriented events. We happened to be there for their Christmas in July event that featured a camper decorating contest and Santa giving gifts to kids. We weren't planning on participating, but the staff encouraged us to and even gave us a gift to give our daughter. It is a family oriented campground full of great people. We didn't originally plan to stop here, but we are glad we found this hidden gem!”
