“My husband surprised me with a weekend stay at the Fig Street Inn for our anniversary. It did not disappoint! Greg and Donna were very attentive to our needs while also giving us plenty of privacy. They are welcoming and kind. The room was clean and comfortable with our own full bath. The breakfast each morning was excellent! We also enjoyed the coffee delivery each morning before breakfast per our request. The town of Cape Charles is charming! The shops, restaurants and beach are all within walking distance from Fig Street Inn but we mostly chose to drive and parking was convenient. I highly recommend staying at the Fig Street Inn!”

“Been here almost 3 weeks. The cleanest laundry room and baths you will ever see! Charles does a great job, he said his wife taught him😊 Daniel in the office is so helpful and all the staff so nice. The owner is really nice too! Sandee welcomed us our first day we had no idea where to go or what to do. She so kindly helped us. We will be here for several more weeks! The river is beautiful here!”

The service at the front desk is good, the room is clean, furniture is a little out dated. The bathroom does need to be upgraded too. “Laundry (a week into 2 week vacation) close to room. Machine was cl ean, easy to use and large for a stack unit. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Good options at breakfast. Area seemed safe and was close to shopping, gas, eating establishments. My husband left his Rx and when we called, desk said they had it and manager would mail it to our home address. An above and beyond, thank you.”

“Green Acres at the Bay provided everything my family could need for a relaxing and fun long weekend. The kitchen had every item we desired, from cookware to wraps to spices and condiments. The entire house was spotless and provided comfortable bedrooms and living areas. But the real attraction is the outdoor areas. Morning coffee on the dock, kayaking in the creek and East River, S'mores over the outdoor fire pit... I think we spent more time outside than inside! Add in the fact that we could share all of this with our dog and it would be difficult to find a better place! Thanks Karla and Dave for offering such a welcoming home for our family get-together!”

“SHEEEEESH, WHAT A STAY! I booked here on a sporadic visit back to my hometown to visit some friends visiting town for a week, and wow what a great experience. Honestly, not to sound cheesy, but this was the best value of a hotel I've ever had. From beginning to end, from first phone call to checking out, I was very very impressed. Everyone was super polite, the location was excellent to downtown, Colonial Williamsburg and all the restaurants and attractions etc.., the lobby was fantastic, clean and well stocked with seating and working areas, the room was incredibly clean and fancier than expected, all the staff were genuinely nice and gracious, and the free continental breakfast was a perfect hotel morning meal. I was so impressed that I immediately booked another night later in the week, AT AN EVEN CHEAPER RATE THAN BEFORE, and had another great experience. I didn't use the pool or the gym, but both looked very clean and accommodating to guests. This Comfort Inn will definitely be my go to when returning home for my annual visits. Cheers, Comfort Inn! “This was okay. We purchased a camp ground and it was in the middle of a bunch of campers. It didn't really feel that safe. But it was fun with some friends. The camp ground was small but it had the right amount of space. We had a fun camping experience. The bathrooms were okay, we stayed for a day so we didn't take a shower. But the showers seems really gross and could use some renovation. The girls bathroom was okay. It was kinda clean. It didn't stink as I expected but smelled pretty clean. But it could use a painting job. Our campsite came with a fire pit. They had wood in it when we came but it was just because of the previous camper. But was appreciated! 😌 They had a small park for kids which was perfect! Our campsite came with a table so that was nice as well! Its okay! Recommended for a quick short trip! 😊”
