“yes, they did give me a fixer upper rent free...just pay lot rent.KEY WORDS; FIXER UPPER AND FREE! of course they need work, that"s why you don"t pay rent on the trailer. Can"t beat less than $300 a month for a 3 bedroom 2 bath home! The investment was so worth it! i love my home and the park is nice. the ponds and ducks are a wonderful sight in the early morning .”

“This adults only RV Park is a quiet, serene country style of living. If peace is what you want, this is the place for you. Although there aren't a lot of trees around each RV, there is a tall row of trees on the west side that the sun dips behind in late afternoon. Another plus is that the park is small and Chris is an awesome manager. He's kind, dependable, and available to his residents.”

“Sweetest park with a beautiful variety of animals! I've been coming here since I was young and have always loved the interactions. Goats, pigs, horses, deer, camels, peacocks, tigers, wallabies - you name it! This place has it all! I highly recommend this spot for families, friends, anyone that wants to be close to nature for a few hours. Easy to find the location, a gorgeous gift shop, and a mini golf course is right down the road ⛳”

“Mostly nice blacktop RV pads shaded by Oak and pecan trees. Decent bathroom/ shower facilities. Large park with a lot of water adjacent campsites. Nice fishing dock at the far end of the park. Several camp or picnic sites closed down at the far end.”

“Not everyone can have the experience I just had, but I cannot think of anything this park is missing: commercial quality gym, walking paths, laundromat, *gators*, pools, sport courts, security, community events, et.al. If they put in grocery store - you'd never have to leave!”

“Amazing people who run this campground. They truly care about every camper and make an enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. I came here over 20+ years ago and was thrilled to see how they truly make it feel like a community. Not a single person here wants you to leave without a smile. If your reading reviews to decide where to camp this year. Let this one be the one that matters the most!”

“Much better than the disheveled Jackrabbit camp, this campsite is well organized. I believe the Quail campsite is better, however.”

“I visit this park. Majority of the complaints here are not factual and emotionally driven with no consideration. It's always easy for others to gripe about everything and blame the manager. This park is located close to the Mountains, where the San Geronimo path is located. Facts are the pool will be dirty more frequently because of the sand that gets blown in (but there will be the unreasonable complainers, blaming the manager, for nature.) Residents do anything they can get away with, if the manager says "no", Residents get emotional and speak bad about management. This is a very thankless job. Dealing with many different personalities, some people are just not happy. The manager can be very nice all the time, even when saying no yet there will always be someone complaining. The manager has other park responsivities, while people complain they are hardly in the office (You would be surprised to know, there is much to community management, than sitting at desk). People should evaluate what a community is, before moving into a place trying to ruin it with their own bad attitude and never satisfied, while pointing the finger at the manager. If a person is not happy where they live, do everyone the favor, move the heck out!!Make room for those that would appricates and value the place for what it is, imperfect, but, a community that welcomes families. I think they are doing a great job there!!Keep it up.”

“This place holds memories for me and my sister's. My Dad went to camp here as a boy and made it to Eagle scout. He would take us here every summer in the 70s and 80s. He contributed his time to this camp until the day he died in 2009.”

“Excellent location on the water. Dirt and gravel spots with a picnic table and concrete patio. The water and electric were very far forward in our lot, but we reached. Our class A is 42 feet and really fit in the spot. Only real issue we had was the energy in our 50 amp had initial high voltage warnings for our surge protector. It did level out and seemed stable.”

“Mr Jeff is a terrific person, the rooms are nice and I will stay here again. Actually, it will be my first choice! I did something incredibly stupid the night before a big fishing tournament and Mr Jeff found out and was extremely generous to help me get out of bind. If not for his generosity, my weekend would have cost me much more money and/or be ruined! Thanks for being a great person Mr Jeff!”

“I just finished my two-night stay with my boyfriend, and we adored this beautiful, peaceful place. The hosts are a lovely, attentive couple who are homey without hovering, and their little dog is beyond cute. The provided breakfast is also amazing--you just can't beat homemade fried potatoes made with potatoes grown on the farm. If you come to Westfield, do yourself a favor and stay here.”

“Middle Bass Inn is a beautiful, historic, comfortable and cozy brick Victorian with much of the original charm, it is right on the water, long wrap around veranda where you can watch gorgeous sunsets. My husband I stayed there twice while looking to buy a plac eon MBI, and we were treated wonderfully by the owners. The decor is just right for the period of the home. Just a great place that takes you back in time as soon as you enter.”

“Tent camper here, three nights in the south part of loop F. Spots are nice, not all are level, so tent camping can be difficult. Wasn’t that busy until Friday evening, guessing the weekends are the busiest time. Lake is beautiful and lots of hiking trails around the campground. Loop F could use another shower house. The bathrooms are old, somewhat dingy and could use an overhaul. Otherwise a fun trip.”

“Our family recently stayed at the Koenig Lodge for a weekend. It is a beautiful location surrounded by trees and the Big Thompson River. It was very clean, comfortable and cozy even though it is large and sleeps about 24. There were I believe 3 gas fireplaces and beautiful furniture. There is a large kitchen with everything anyone would need, a large comfortable living room, and a fun recreation room downstairs. It was one of the most wonderful weekends we have had, and could be with our whole family.”

“The manager was very professional. Answered all our questions. Gave us a tour. Everyone would come talk to her. Not for problems but just to say hi. Which I see as a close community. And that will make me feel safe. Neighbors watching Neighbors. The club house is beautiful. My husband loved the gym. I am looking forward to seeing that community every day.”
