“Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a few days in one of the cabins, we loved it. The cabins are nice and staff are so sweet and helpful, the pamphlet they give you has local restaurants they recommend and we tried a few and all were great. The view of the lake when you wake up is amazing and also it has plenty of fish to catch from the bank, dock, or using the boat the ramp to go out on the water. I would recommend this site to anyone looking for a nice getaway with great people, especially if you love fishing.”

“Really good experience here for a decent price. The location is beautiful and the proximity to the tavern was great. Service was great and polite (actually at our arrival the front desk person was getting chewed out over a trivial matter by a guest and handled it like a champ). Rooms are a bit old and not much in the way of sound proofing, but kind of expected in an old place like this. Overall, nice experience for the price.”

“First time at this hotel and I must say, it was different in a good way. The color choices they made were bright and a relaxing vibe even outside. I guess you could say the color choices brightened your day right up. The thing I found I didn't like was no coffee pot in the room but the coffee down in the lobby was very good. Atmosphere, customer service and cleanliness was good. Really, no complaints.”

“This place is great! I am really pleased with the new management and they have really improved the motel fridge working great microwave works too. Tv clear picture great signal clean room clean shower super hot 🔥 yay! Management kind and thoughtful. Thanks. And fishing right down the street. Much better than a motel I was in three weeks ago. Price is worth it. Bed is comfy ☺️”

“Very comfortable King Bed with comfy pillows and blanket. Definitely Affordable and in a good location by the beach. The room was very spacious with the bathroom and sink area separated from the room, that's really nice to have! It gives you a little privacy while showering and getting ready. I must say It was nice to have an actual blanket and not a table cloth to sleep with. They also have shampoo! Seems all the other hotels use those table cloths and most places you have to ask for shampoo! It's so inconvenient! Bathroom could've used a little more bleach and elbow grease and the un-matching chairs weren't a problem, but matching would be more ideal. The small table worked for me, and it was a nice little sitting area. Small TV with wires running down wall. I think the TV could be bigger and the wire and centering of tv could be aligned differently. Overall, this is not really a 5 star hotel like the Marriot, Westin, Candlewood, etc. It's more of a 3 star hotel that I'm giving 5 stars, in comparison to other 3 star hotels, such as Econo Lodge, Days Inn, Red Roof Inn, etc. What sold me on this hotel and why I gave it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐??? It was definitely because of the the soft pillows and blankets! 🌜🛌😌💤💤😌🛌🌛”

“Miss Pam at the front desk overnight was wonderful. My boyfriend and I talked to her for a long time. She felt like an old friend and made our stay great. The beds were very comfortable. Rooms were clean. Little disappointed the light up makeup mirror wasn’t working in our bathroom but nothing that would prevent us from returning. We will be back to visit our new friend, Miss Pam.”

“We had a fantastic time on our vacation in Portugal! Gretchen Winterstein, at World Class Travel, planned everything. She listened to what we wanted, thought about the best accommodations for our family (2 kids), and planned all the details (even the ones we weren’t thinking about). She was a great resource before and during the trip. Toward the end of our trip, we sent her a note asking about tipping protocol in Portugal and she shared great feedback based on her own travels and also sent an online resource. Super helpful. Gretchen went above and beyond to help us create valuable experiences and memories for our family. We will definitely work with her again — her attention to detail and her consistent communication make her indispensable!”

“The staff is wonderful! All these hotels out here in Danville very seldom rent to locals I came all the way out here and they helped me get a room and it was fast and easy . You can tell the housekeepers, front desk and management really cares about their jobs and they take pride in their work. 10/10 will definitely come back !”

“The Marl Inn is absolutely gorgeous! Our hostess was very pleasant and informative about the surrounding areas. The room has a mini fridge/freezer, coffee, tea own private bath and more. She even brought a homemade snack to our room while we were out exploring the area. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the Butterfly room as beautiful as it is has a very hard mattress which caused my disabled mother and I to wake up in a good bit of pain. A good bed topper would fix that issue. Even with the bed I would definitely come back and try another room.”

“The family spent a three nights at the Travelers Rest Farm. Agnes was an amazing host. Two days we helped care for and received much needed instruction on improving our horse riding skills. We also fed geese and ducks, petted cats and dogs, watched barn swallows feed their young in the horse stalls, paddled a canoe on their pond, rested on hammocks in the shade and watched hummingbirds feed outside our window. Additionally, we also went to the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens in Richmond and saw the Stonewall Jackson Shrine near Fredericksburg. I don't think you will be disappointed staying at this fabulous farm.”

“Stayed for about a year they have 1 bed room and 2 bedroom suites they are very nice the 1 bedroom suite has 2 beds in they are in a actual room of there own with a door to shut for your own privacy and the 2 bedroom has 1 king bed in both rooms we’re you can shut the door and have privacy also they have a kitchen with actual fridge for food instead of just a small lil one they also have a stove top it’s only two burners but it’s great for a quick place to stay when I was down on my luck they actually made me feel so welcome and helped me with everything they have a nice staff and one lady that works there she’s a manager she was the most welcoming and sweet but these are over all nice I liked my stay there, Would definitely stay again!!!!”

“What a delightful place to stay. Charming bed & breakfast. Large room with private bathroom. Open common areas for sitting and chairs outside to just sit and relax. We enjoyed the breeze and sat under a big shade tree. Truly relaxing. What a great location on Main Street near the historic area. Lots of beauty all around and yet private. Close to US Coast Guard training center and walking distance to the beach. Ashley the manager was very accommodating. Highly recommend for a unique stay. Place was clean & well appointed. Beds are comfortable. 24/7 self service coffee, tea, and water. Chocolate, too!”
