“Great overnight stop. We were able to walk in & get a room after an unexpected traffic delay. The staff were very nice. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable & they offered a great hot breakfast. It's in a great location, you can walk to McDonald's & grocery store. We would definitely stay again if in the area.”

“I’ve lived in heritage for many many years and have watched management change. The new property manager and staff we have now is amazing! From the office to the maintenance man that helps out! Always friendly and available and quick to address any concerns in the community. She is very friendly to the tenants and I’ve seen her literally working day and night keeping the neighborhood nice 😊 I love living here not to mention it’s in a great location!! Now to address a review I saw posted from another person calling the landlord a racist, are you serious?! There is not a racist bone in that woman’s body!! I’ve never heard her say or do anything that she would be called that! For goodness sakes there are so many minorities that live in this neighborhood not to mention she has a black man that works in the office with her!! Seriously if you are not happy then leave! That is so absurd!”

Cedars of Williamsburg Bed & Breakfast

Address: 616 Jamestown Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23185, USA

Lodging

“This was our first stay at the Cedars. Alex was an amazing host. Warm & personable but not intruding. Really made us feel welcome and at home. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was excellent. We enjoyed sitting by the fires and the decorations were precisely as they should be for Williamsburg. The other guests were lovely to chat with as well. We stayed in the Juniper room in the cottage. It was fantastic. I would say that the bed was fairly soft for my tastes, but I like a firm bed. It wasn't low quality...I just personally like more support. But we will definitely return!”

“M family and I stayed at Kings Creek during the holidays. The spaces were sized well, we had room for our tow vehicle and the spacing between spots was generous. We didn’t use any of the facilities such as the bathrooms or laundry so I can’t really comment on those but all the hookups worked as advertised. The internet access wasn’t great but that’s not unusual for most camp grounds that we’ve used. Overall, our experience was a positive one and I would definitely return.”

JCS Farms Vacation Rental Office

Address: 15409 Compton Rd, Centreville, VA 20121, USA

“We had a work retreat at JSC Farms last weekend, and it was wonderful! I lucked out and got the master bedroom, so enjoyed spacious quarters and a private bath. This worked great for us to have a large gathering place for meetings and meals, but also personal space to decompress in the evenings. We loved the private feel of being away and out in the countryside. All in all, a wonderful weekend and would definitely recommend!”

Primrose Cottage At Two Rivers

Address: 16538 Chickahominy Bluff Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23185, USA

Lodging

“We loved our stay here. We are kayakers who brought our boats and spent a lovely peaceful little vaca on the water. It was amazing to be so close to Williamsburg and hardly see a sole as we spent our time in creeks up the Chickahomony. It is not ON the water, but you can walk to a dock easy enough. It would be a fantastic, cost effective place for a family to stay who wants to visit Jamestown, and even Williamsburg. It was very clean and our host Inge was very helpful.”

“We went here on a whim for our small spring break for my family (i have 7 y.o.). Travel always hard on our family since my husband and I has a dietary limitations. But this time gives us awhile different perspective with their warm welcome. Since we made a call for reservations all the way to our staying there it's such a pleasant experience. No impersonal, sterile experience of the hotel. You speak to the person and enjoy the personalized touch in your food, decor and your room. And we also talked to Angel (the manager there) and she's such a caring lady (she made a special treat for my little ones for breakfast). My family will surely come back. Another plus point is the price. For two room and that kind of service you can't beat their price.”

Comfort Suites At Virginia Center Commons

Address: 10601 Telegraph Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23059, USA

“Access to the hotel from I95 was a little weird but no fault of the hotel. Establishment was clean, no complaints on room cleanliness, beds were very comfortable. There was the typical hotel hot breakfast and I was pleased with the seating space. Most hotels cram you in a small space among a feeding frenzy, but this location provides plenty of elbow room. Definitely a place to stay again 👍”

Yorktown Beach Hotel

Address: 508 Water St, Yorktown, VA 23690, USA

“I was very pleased with my stay last weekend at the Yorktown Beach Hotel. The location is great and view from my room and private balcony was amazing! Bed was comfy. The bathroom was nice, although the shower head is pretty low for me at 6'0 to stand underneath. The railing on the balcony could use attention....maybe replaced with something that doesn't obstruct the view as much. The manager and front desk ladies were very nice and helpful! Can't wait to go back again!”

“We stayed in a rental unit on the property. Our kids slept on a blowup mattress because it was a one bedroom unit without a pull out couch. We enjoyed the extra sitting room and full sized refrigerator during our Thanksgiving dinner. If we wanted to cool it would have been possible thanks to the counter space but we elected to order from Cracker Barrel instead. The kids were able to ride their bikes around the campground without any problems from excessive traffic. There is an arcade on the property that takes quarters which the kids thought was old school. The rundown mini golf course needs repairs but it was good enough for the kids to enjoy. The campground employees were courteous and helpful throughout our 4 day stay. The location of the campground is close to all the shopping and historical sites the area has to offer. We would definitely go back!”

Loudoun Escape

Address: 20721 Jennifer Ann Dr, Ashburn, VA 20147, USA

“Beautiful "mini-mansion", our team was able to work and play in the heart of one loudoun. Bobby Varghese was a tremendously attentive and caring super host. We were greeted with cupcakes, fruits, cheeses and a meat and crackers board. This home has all the perks. You must take an escape and enjoy this opportunity to live like the "rich and famous". It felt like we were living in a Hollywood Hills Estate, the kitchen was huge and came with a personal chef experience! We are already booking a future stay with Bobby. This is a winning combination of the greatest hospitality and an amazing home.”

Machicomoco State Park

Address: 3601 Timberneck Farm Rd, Hayes, VA 23072, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“Not one of the best state parks in the state, but certainly not the worst. The modern feel of the park is a very interesting and well executed take on the style of parks we know and love. The inclusion of both English and Native American history on the land is highly appreciated and a nice touch. The Timberneck House could use a little love and the trails are a bit lacking, but all in all a solid 9/10 park.”
