“We have a timeshare in Williamsburg, VA and decided this year we wanted an additional week. The room we had at Suburban Extended Stay included a full size refrigerator, large microwave, and countertop stove. The room was very clean, staff was customer service focused. The only negative was the fitness center and breakfast room advertised on their website was closed. Over all, the accommodations were comfortable at a very reasonable price.”

“I am from Texas and my whole experience so far with IOW has been nothing short of amazing. The owners are friendly and helpful the office staff have been very kind and helpful. The place is beautiful and they are just a big family here. My job brought me here and i had to store my trailer until they got a spot open for me and i had front leg issues with my RV, they never hesitated to help me get my trailer off my truck and then when i got a spot they helped me move it and back in. I believe that goes above and beyond what they had to do. I am grateful that i found this place they are hands down one of the best RV parks i have stayed in. :)”

“Loved the way we were welcomed by a smile, and treated as important guests by all the staff. We arrived early, and accommodated immediately. We stayed three nights in room 405 which was huge and sits on the corner of the hotel. This room had a couch and a nice balcony where you could see the ocean in the distance. It is on a busy street, but high enough that the traffic did not bother us. Not a fancy hotel, but great price and had more of a family atmosphere, than a party crowd. Free parking upstairs and free covered parking downstairs. We did not have any trouble finding a place to park. Very close to Doheny Beach, Dana Point and plenty of places to eat. Continental breakfast is boxed juice, coffee and packaged danish, but the size of the room, price and location make up for not having a full breakfast. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker included in room. We would absolutely stay here again, especially in the same room.”

“We had our wedding at this farm. The couple that runs the B&B are so accommodating and easy to work with. The grounds are gorgeous, the barn was spectacular. The rooms were quaint and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the service was better than I could have ever imagined.”

“The rooms are very clean although this is one of the cheapest motels on Ocean view so I would definitely go to this one I've been going to this motel pretty much as long as I can remember that is not a bad stay at all the pool is nice and there's a beach right on the other side so you can splurge for a bigger room and better room but the regular rooms are just regular but if you want to stay at a hotel for a cheap price go swimming and hop on the beach this is the hotel for you”

“We had the best time at this resort. It was very clean and there is so much to do you don’t even want to leave the resort. It’s minutes from Busch Gardens and Water Country. Everyone was so nice and our kids loved every second of being there. With the indoor and outdoor pools, lazy river, water slide, game room, and beautiful views, it’s the perfect place to vacation.”

“I loved my stay there. The ladies at the front desk, as well as the maintenance ladies , are very kind. The rooms come in different sizes of course but even the smallest one has a kitchenette. There is a bed, full size refrigerator, microwave, kitchen sink with cabinets, two burner stove, flatsscreen tv, arm chair, shower in the bathroom. Ample storage. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the Patrick Henry shops (DSW, STARBUCKS, RESTAURANTS, Taco Bell , CHICK FIL A, MC DONALDS, WHOLE FOODS GROCERY STORE, NAVY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION, ULTA'S, A GYM, 5 AND BELOW, A SPA, TARGET, BED BATH AND BEYOND, OTHERS)! And the Patrick Henry mall is about .2 mile down the road. They are closely adjacent to, Aldi's, 7-11and a Wawa. Make sure you ask about amenities at check in. They have more amenities than people know.”

Having traveled a good portion of the country lately it seems some hotels are still far behind the curve when it comes to implementing regular operational procedures again since the pandemic started. “Let me start by saying by reading previous reviews I was skeptical about staying here. What I found out is something I’ve believed and do so even more now. People are way more important than what they believe they are. I’m not saying that there weren’t probably some valid complaints. What I have found here in two weeks of staying here is a staff that is friendly and willing to help with anything needed. I had an immaculate room and the linens plus towels were replaced when asked. The breakfast is what it is and the pool is closed. My only reason for not giving five stars is one staff member (quite possibly the manager) that has the personality of a rock.”

“Michael and Steve are excellent hosts. They are living the quiet(-ish) life with their flock of birds, herd of dogs and the beautiful Vista of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The room was perfect, private and comfy. I had my own bathroom and it was furnished smartly. The whole upstairs is for guests, and they have a sitting room and wee coffee and snack station chock full of tasty things. One of the best AirBnBs I have stayed at.”

“Great experience! Our family booked this reservation a couple days prior. We were nervous about it being a “2-star hotel” but it had great reviews! We took a chance! We arrived three hours early to check in at 3pm. We were roomed by 1:30. The General manager was super friendly & front desk helped us get roomed quickly. The rooms were spotless, fresh linens & freshly cleaned floors. We had our parents stay 3 doors down in a pet friendly room& it was equally as clean. We had fun in the pool& the Mexican restaurant across the street made it all the better!! Thanks for having us, we’ll be staying again if we’re in Petersburg again. ☺️”

“This property has a beautiful and peaceful setting, with gorgeous sunrise views, and great sky at night for stars. Very quiet during the day. The hosts could not be more friendly and open. The morning breakfast is a culinary delight, that alone would make it a 5 star experience. The location is relatively close to many different attractions if desired, but also peaceful enough to stay all day and relax. The guest rooms and common areas are well appointed.
