“The community here is the best most smoke crack but the select few in here that shoot dope they're my people. We even pray to Allah sometimes mostly when we are all doped up on that dog food. I would recommend this park to anyone. Sometimes we go on smash and grabs in the nice houses to fund our dope habit so far I haven't been shot at knock on wood”

“Beautiful! If you want nature and peace get spots 30 to 37. There are other areas that are more social. Meaning small campsites. The nature is a very beautiful Kansas nature and it's well maintained. Facilities are very nice yet still subject to nature. Meaning you may run across creatures such as racoons and mud dabbers. The boat ramp is not bad, but it does have some of the best courtesy docks. If you like bird watching you may find some nice birds. Not guaranteed they will be there. But it's a nature lovers paradise.”

“Great place especially compared to other parks in the area. Owner and management try to keep it clean and updated but roads need completely repaved and would be nice if there was some kind of community ammenities in the park like a playground at least. Lot rent is on the high side. They have periodic contests for decorations or landscaping where you can get a rent discount if you win, a annual community yard sale, and 2 dogs per home are allowed. They do have breed restrictions. Overall, would recommend! They don't just let everyone who applies in so it keeps the park nice and safe which I appreciate!”

“It's been just over 25 years since my visit to the lodge. I can remember the visit like it was yesterday! The staff was excellent, and the food was superb! I can recall one day questioning what time it was, as I was getting hungry. Our guide replied "11". I told him "wow, that's great! It's still early!" He laughed and said "no no no, it's 11PM! You guys have been fishing for over 13 hours!" I guess time does fly when you are having the time of your life! A few word of advise: be cautious of the "clear water". The water is so extremely clear that one cannot gage the depth as one step is 2 feet deep, and your next step is over 12 feet deep! And yes that water is cold, even in August! Watch out for the Germans. As I harvested my next day's bait from my current days catch. The Germans snatched and ate my bait (salmon eggs), within seconds of turning my back! I still smile when thinking of that. So if you love fishing (or even if you so so like it), and want to make lifelong memories; take this trip to the Lodge!”

“The yurts are cool. Especially during the winter months. During the colder months, there aren’t many people down here. The solitude is really peaceful. And there’s a safe cozy feeling and Afton State Park and the yurts— plenty of firewood to keep the yurt warm and cozy. And, the Park Rangers and the entire staff who work at Afton State Park are really fantastic. Very friendly. Very accommodating. And helpful in so many ways. They keep the park looking beautiful. I’ve been coming to Afton state park my whole life. And it’s never been better.”

“Great historical landmark in Big Bear, the new owners have done a ton of improvements to the property and obviously care to preserve it for future generations its available for weddings or other functions as well as a get a way weekend with or without the kids easy walking distance from the Village shopping and restaurants and only a couple blocks from the lake. Close to all the action but still quiet enough to fully relax and recenter. Definitely recommend checking this place out.”

“They have updated the rooms. For the price that they're asking it is above standard compared to what is I've seen on that side of town. No roaches. Refrigerator, microwave, flat screen television, comfortable bed. Most bathrooms are equipped with shower only. They do have some with a nice sized step up tub. It's usually pretty quiet. They also offer weekly rates. I'm a regular customer when I'm on that side of Dallas.”

“It's a great RV park. They have a beautiful pool and a storm shelter. The park is well maintained and constantly being improved upon. One day, I did notice a bunch of screws laying in the road near one of the dumpsters. When I mentioned it to the maintenance man, he was very polite and rectified the issue immediately. A wonderful place to stay.”

“I stayed here one weekend for a trail race nearby. I hadn't booked ahead and the front desk isn't staffed 24/7. I didn't have any trouble getting a room though. I called the reservation line and an employee met me downstairs after giving me the code to enter the building. Book ahead to have your check in envelope waiting for you at the front desk. The building is historic and gorgeous. There are a lot of little touches of care and history all over the place and it's a beautiful atmosphere. There was even a soft warm light on, waiting for me in the room. The location is only a few blocks from eating, tourists sights, and the historic tower downtown and I'd definetly stay there again.”

“We enjoyed our stay at Twin Canyon Ranch. The cabins are nice with all the creature comforts of home, the view is fantastic, the staff was extremely friendly and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. There are 7 cabins which would make it ideal for large family groups wanting to enjoy time together but still have their own individual spaces. The pool and hot tub had easy access from all the cabins. It’s was also nice that it was located between Gradbury and Glen Rose so you had more options for things to see and do.”

“We had a great time with our Fun Coupe! It was such a fun way to see sights in Clearwater! We saw customers driving them earlier in the week and knew we had to add this adventure to our vacation fun! We did the 2 hour ride and it was so much fun! We rode along the gulf coast beach front with wind in our hair and smiles on our faces! We stopped and got ice cream and several people asked about how to rent one and our experience. One of our favorite memories of this Vacation!”
