Lots of picnic tables and nice bathrooms, as well as starving squirrels who are super friendly on the verge of aggressive”

Plenty of diverse hikes that lead you along meadows, forests, berry patches, rivers/streams, and lots of animals and plant diversity as well. “I got a lakeside campsite in late August. Beautiful location, being close to the lake. It was a wet year, so the climb down to the water was only about 3'. As others have said, some of the structures are in need of repair, and the sites are close together. There were many vacancies when I was there, so noise and smoke were not a problem.
