“Hope Park is a hidden gem that I discovered recently in North Port. This 1.9 acre neighborhood park located on Lombra Ave is a great spot for family gatherings or just a fun day out with the kids. The park offers a playground for the little ones, as well as a large open green space for playing games or picnicking. The pavilion with picnic tables and a grill is also available to visitors, making it a perfect spot for a family barbecue or picnic. I was impressed by how well maintained the park is. The grass is kept short and neat, the playground equipment is in excellent condition, and there's rarely any trash or litter lying around. Additionally, the park is usually not too busy, which is a nice change of pace from some of the more crowded parks in the area. One thing that really sets Hope Park apart is its peaceful and quiet atmosphere. It's a great place to relax and unwind, and the lack of crowds really makes it feel like a hidden oasis. Whether you're looking for a spot to have a family picnic or just a nice place to spend a lazy afternoon, Hope Park is definitely worth a visit. Overall, I highly recommend Hope Park. It's a well-maintained, peaceful, and quiet neighborhood park with plenty of amenities to enjoy.”

“Not a bad little hike. Once the trail fades a bit into just foot trails the brush and bugs get pretty bad. Even with repellent on they are bad out in the sticks as some would say. But the place itself is really nice.”

“We had a great 5 night stay. Quiet neighborhood. We felt like locals, living on the water. Great location: far enough away from noise, but close enough to see the area. Tight corners to pull in, but plenty of space once you're parked. The marina staff were very friendly and informative. They were especially helpful as we prepped for the incoming tropical storm. The free washer and dryer was a pleasant surprise. Clean and convenient bathhouse. *Don't forget to empty your grey/ black water before pulling in. Chassahowitzka River Campground has a dump site for $10.”

“Really nice park over looking a duck pond and the ocean. There's a lot of picnic areas to choose from. The bathroom are well taken cared of. It's close to a Y centre.. We really enjoyed this park.. Little critters are out there so don't leave your food unattended.”

“I live across the road. Park is a nice piece of property. Wish they would do a better job along the road front with trash pickup and mowing. I Mow some of both sides of the road there as we own over an acre on the park side at curve and 55+ acres across the road. Walking trail is nice. We used to farm it 30+ years ago. There is some nice places back there to go sledding if the brush was cleaned up some on the ridge. I used to ride dirtbikes and 4 wheelers there as a kid. Place would be really fun if that was allowed as a park. Could require a paid pass and trail work responsibilities/membership (limited) could be a money maker for county.”

“I visited Copper Sky Regional Park as my son played in a soccer tournament hosted here over two weekends in April 2024. While, for a Greater Phoenix-based team, it can easily be an "away game" (30-40+ minutes away), the field set-up seemed functional (they had multiple baseball games/tournament at the same time and there were no issues obvious issues with field confusion, no seating, etc.), and the fields were well maintained (and the grass was Arizona good for April) when we visited. However, finding a restroom when you're at some of the further (i.e., #7 & #8) soccer fields seemed to prove a hassle for many parents, and entering/exciting the parking lot (in-between game times) was a nightmare.”

“This is a place that every child feels connected and appreciated. The staff is remarkably responsive to individual children's needs. The facilities are well kept and safe. There is an activity for every type of child and encouragement from staff to try new things. My son had a greater appreciation for nature, himself, his family, his religion and his world when he returned home. Staff is available before, during and after camp to discuss any questions, comments or concerns. We are highly impressed with everything Camp Livingston has to offer and how deeply dedicated their staff is to the campers, families and community as a whole. Follow us for more great reviews ™”

“Just an outstanding park. Well maintained, plenty of areas for activities, a beautiful fishing pond, walking paths, gazebos, children’s play areas, bmx track, pavilions for picnics and even an air field for hobby plane enthusiasts! Don’t forget to bring your tennis 🎾 racket and baseball gear!”

“This small park has restrooms, parking, playground and views of the South River. There are also lookouts and an entrance to the river for kayakers. Taking the paved path south will take you all the way to the Holy Spirit monastery (Approx 3miles). (The bridge leading to the monastery was closed for repairs on 2/6/24). Taking the path north will take you 1.1 mi to South Rockdale Community Park. (A section of this path was under construction on 2/6/24). This is a quiet, clean park that isn't usually busy.”

“Cottage # 10 is a must stay! It is the best cottage of the ten available at Indian Springs State Park. Two of the four sides have views of the water, and there is direct access to the water. The cottage has a full kitchen, wood-burning fireplace, and a perfect card playing table. Two beds, one bath to fit four adults comfortably.”

“I love this site! There's usually not too many people here, so you can walk around and observe nature, play basketball, or even fish when the weather is nice enough. Great place, I made lots of memories here with my Husband and two daughters. Would recommend visiting if you're looking for a reserved place to chill and relax”

“Dreary, rainy winter of '23 and the photos/videos reflect it. Ok, this one. I can't say why with specificity but I'm simply unimpressed. I think, maybe, I'm becoming jaded by the volume of Parks in the SCV. There's nothing glaringly wrong with Heritage. Here's the good. Easy access to the San Francisquito Trail Paseo. It also has three well maintained tennis courts. Bathrooms are clean. There are two large fields for running around. Pavilion and numerous benches throughout the park. Charcoal grills. So, it's not a bad park. It is however right along Newhall Ranch Road, one of the busiest roads in Santa Clarita. Onr entrance and parking lot is off Newhall. Another is at the intersection of Fairview and McBean Pkwy, another very busy road. You can see some scenery but it's not the most picturesque park in the inventory. I gave it 4 stars mostly for the paseo access and tennis courts. It's really a 3+ star park so I rounded up.”

“Really love this place! Very well kept and maintained. I've been going here for years (since 2010!) even though I don't live in the area any more. Extremely peaceful environment with beautiful grounds and a lovely conservatory. I really enjoy their trails as they have lovely water features (stream and pond). Highly recommend!”

“Sequoyah State Park is one of the best in Oklahoma. I come back time and time again and I'm impressed each time. It's the perfect place for a quick stop to enjoy nature and scenery, to take a weekend camping trip, or spend longer at the lodge or one of the cabins. Park staff is friendly, and the campsites are clean and quiet. There's never a bad view and there's something for everyone. It's the state park I recommend to anyone who asks.”

“We have been coming here for years, even when the previous owners had the campsite. Let me tell you the new owners are absolutely amazing! Brad , Danielle and Tyler and all the staff go above and beyond to make your experience a great one! They have done so much to make it a better family fun campsite! Our kids always have the best time! Tons of activities for the kids and adults! Corn bag tournaments and bingo are always a good time! Lots of fun theme weekends! Ice cream shop, arcade and a great clean well maintained pool! The bathrooms and shower houses are clean and well kept! That was a big one for us! Just a quick 4 min or less drive to cannon falls and you have everything you could really need in a small town. Grocery’s, coffee, multiple restaurants an amazing bakery. This is our favorite place to camp in the summer and it’s only a short drive to the metro so extended stays on weekdays work out perfect!”

“This is a beautiful park with a decent baseball/kickball field. There are swings and a playground for the little ones. There is also road parking and benches available for sitting. If the field were better kept, it would have been a 5 star rating. Otherwise, this is a solid park and I'll be back for more playing!”
