“Family oriented, neighborhood pool. Larger pool runs 3.5 to 5 feet in depth. A second pool for diving. A third small pool for toddlers a few inches to 18 inches in depth with a splash umbrella. Life jackets are available for weak or nonswimmers. There is a lift chair available for those that need assistance to get in the water. Lifeguards on duty and do a great job monitoring activities. The is a small fee for entry, $2 for kids and $4 for adults. Toilet facilities, picnic and play ground outside the pool area. The pool was closed Tuesdays and Thursdays. Hours were generally 1 to 5 pm.”

“Great place, short easy hike to Big Falls. Lots of water this year I highly recommend going soon!! Parking was fine early. You need a national park pass or a $5 daily parking fee per day at the general store. There is a small lot of free parking but it was full when we were there. Lots of great day use picnic spots too in the loop. Great spot for an easy hike and close water falls!”

“Nice and quiet location, situated in Seascape. It has a vast walking trail that encompasses the grounds and circles along the scenic cliffs. The benches are well suited for some relaxation amongst the fresh breeze that emits from the sea. The breathtaking backdrop of the sunsets, is ripe for a classic group picture or romantic partnership. It has a small play yard for the little ones - not so much for the older kids though. Bring your dog or bike, their is plenty of room to spread out, share the wealth of nature and find your surreal mind set.”

“Nice place for the whole family, especially for the kids! There are two parking lots on the left and right of the entrance with full capacity after 12:00 at weekend. Two playgrounds for kids, one is for toddlers, the other is for the elder. Bathroom is next to the parking lot that is close to the playground. You may BBQ here with some shades. You can also practice your balance on the surface of the water, bring your paddle board or kayak to relax here. But please throw the rubbish in the trash can to keep the environment as it was. Remember to bring a jacket in the afternoon.”

“Great neighborhood park. Large zipline and this large boat swing I haven't seen anywhere else. Good for ages 8 to 12. Taking one star away because the park lacks a jungle gym type playground.”

“Great secluded campground at the far end of McCain Valley, well maintained by BLM. West side has more tree cover, east side more open. Calm and quiet all afternoon, wind picked up about 3am and the nearby turbines turned on, but not overwhelming, more like white noise. Do yourself a favor and check out Sacatone Overlook on the way in.”

“Very nice drive through the area with areas throughout where you can camp, fish, and take your dirt bikes/atv/side by side. Any vehicle can access this area and camp. Earlier on the road is paved, later on the road is smooth sand. There might be areas that need AWD and high clearance vehicle, but we did not explore far enough. I will be back again to camp at the river. Updating review 2/6/23: We went back here to camp last Thursday to Saturday. The dirt road had some cracks from the water running through it, and some area needed high clearance to get through the bigger ditches in the road. We had the whole camp area next to the river and the weather was nice without it being too cold at night as long as you bundled up properly. The sky was clear and perfect with our propane fire pit and solo stove for the group. This could be a nice area to try to fish. I forgot fishing pole this time. I would come back here again.”

“This park is huge! There are two different playgrounds onsite (opposite ends of the park). Both structures have slides, climbing areas, and some kind of seesaw. One playground has a water play area with rings that spray water and a few ground sprayers. The other playground has some larger slides, small rock climbing area, spinning structures, swings, and a baby/toddler play structure. The playgrounds are connected with a nice long walking path and lots of green space to play. Some soccer classes happen in this space too. There are 3 large parking lots and each playground has it's own bathroom structure. There are lots of picnic tables and some grills too. Definitely recommend for a fun place to play and hang out with family/friends.”

“So impressed with the staff. They are great with the kids, super patient and respectful. This was a 2 week sailing course for kids 8 to 13 yo. The first week they learned balance, teamwork, trust, rigging, and special knotts and launching from the beach and parking on the dock. They have enough staff to place to motor boats out on the water to assist the children as needed. This week they are learning to sail solo. Highly recommend this activity for kids. At first we didn't know what to expect and the boys weren't thrilled that we signed them up but now they love the program.”
