“We stayed at Mikes place for 2 weeks in the spring of 2023. This place is magical to say the least. It is remote enough that all you can hear is the sounds of nature; dark enough that you can see all the stars. The cabin is spacious and comfy with modern up-to-date amenities. Mike was the perfect host steering us to the wonderful sights on the Blue ridge Parkway. I highly recommend this place and Mike's hospitality. We will always stay here when we are in the area.”

“Amazing location overall, the woman who runs the area is Very professional and polite. We were able to enjoy a friendly family atmosphere for the whole weekend. Not to mention there was a mud bog to boot. (Not recommended for yuppies for obvious reasons.)”

“My stay at Breezey Oaks Bed and Breakfast was truly memorable. The moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a charming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The rooms were beautifully decorated, and the surrounding gardens created a serene and tranquil ambiance. Each morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast made with local ingredients, showcasing the hosts' attention to detail and culinary skills. The exceptional service provided by the hosts added a personal touch to my experience. The location was both convenient and peaceful, striking the perfect balance for exploring the area. In addition, its proximity to the Virginia International Raceway makes it an ideal choice for racing enthusiasts. Overall, I highly recommend Breezey Oaks Bed and Breakfast for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway that exceeds expectations.”

“Can someone please tell me what time(s) I can speak to someone in the office about getting an affordable monthly room? I see the phone number listed which rarely gets answered and no one seems to be in the front area which is also locked on the outside. May I please get the weekly and monthly rates? Also who I can talk to and the times? Thank you.”

“We opted to stay at this charming inn vs a hotel/B&B in downtown Williamsburg because of the location! The setting couldn't be more serene. The home was built in the 1600's and the decor throughout the home really makes you feel like you have stepped back into time. Jennifer did a spectacular job with all the details in the home. Luxury and classy touches. The wine and cheese upon our arrival as well as the breakfast was top notch!!!”

“This is a very quiet place to live. Previous management were very strict with all tenants regarding to cleanliness of the patios for a better look of the community as well as keeping the houses power washed very often if there was any visible sign of mold but that changed now with the new management that take over the place which is a little disappointed but overall is still good for living.”

“A wonderfully delightful B&B. My wife and I stayed only 1 night while attending an event at The Glebe, but wished we could have stayed longer. It's loaded with history and would be a great place to stay to visit the historical plantations of the area.”

“We stayed at the KeeBee for the weekend. The owners were awesome. It worked out perfectly for me and the family. Peace & Quiet with a great breakfast to get your day going. They also made some last minute accommodations for friends from out of town so they could join us.”

“I’m a little late, but I definitely wanted to leave a review. This place was wonderful. I stayed for two days on my birthday last August, and the homes are not only cute but really wonderfully put together. It’s so peaceful there at night too, even when it was raining. Most importantly, the owners are wonderful. I had forgotten a hat there after leaving on my last day, and not only did they respond to my initial email of concern about it promptly and politely, they even went through the effort to send the hat back to me! Stellar customer service for an already stellar stay. Can’t recommend enough. Will certainly stay again if I can help it.”

“This motel is exactly what you hope to run into as a traveling worker with a small budget. It may be a bit outdated, but the entire place was very clean and kept up properly. Certainly one of the few cheap options for a place to stay in that area, but does not compensate like most motel owners on budget do. Room and towels, facilities and amenities all work and were very clean. Water is clean enough to drink, also never had to deal with unwanted or unruly guests. Mr. Ken McClure runs a tight ship there, and I definitely will be staying again, givin the opportunity to do so. Casey Local #147 operating engineers, va.”

“This is a wonderful campground immediately off of the Blue Ridge mountain Parkway. Not only are the views fantastic from the campground but the sites are very spacious. Spaced out well and provide great privacy. The restrooms were very clean and they provided free washer and dryer. Each site had a nice picnic table and a fire ring. Definitely planning on returning to this great campground in the future.”

“We spent the weekend here with friends and family and had a super time. The hosts were wonderful and welcoming and made us feel right at home. The rooms were well appointed and spotless and made for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast each morning was lovely and you did not come away hungry. The property is full of history and is a beautiful place to stay and take in the sunsets and relax. we will definitely be back again.”

“Initially we had to cancel our registration due to Covid but they held our deposit and applied it without question to our stay last week. The house is not historic but was lovely and the guests are trusted with use of the entire first floor: several sitting rooms, the dining area, kitchen and a basement large screen TV area. We stayed two nights. Breakfast was served buffet style with one dining table. Everything was delicious and the grits on day two were excellent! Located near the campus of William and Mary University, it was a short drive to Colonial Williamsburg.”

“I very much like the clean room and the good shower of the Washington Burgess Inn. I especially like the absence of unexpected charges. A 7-11 is half a mile toward West Point; and a Food Lion is just across the bridge, in West Point, with very little delay due to traffic lights. I will use it again when I visit Williamsburg.”

“This is one of the last independent beachfront motels that hasn't been mowed down for a boring, character-stripped chain. Other reviewers are right, it's dated... In the best way possible. Charm to the brim. And super clean. And super friendly staff. And perfect beach views perfectly centrally located on the boardwalk. Breakfast isn't included but it's so affordable you can easily go to any of the great little diners in the area. We'll definitely be back.”

“This is a quiet little state park I just realized existed. I came here for a special geocaching challenge that the Rangers set up. Not a lot of people here, so it was very peaceful and quiet – as relaxing as I was hoping it would be. There's also a small campground, and quite a few people in there today. I could not find a trail map, and the one on my phone wouldn't load a great deal of the time, but I quickly found out the trails are very easy to navigate. I took a side trail out of curiosity, and ended up standing in the parking lot where my car was. For the most part, it is accessible to all. There is what appears to be a hiking, or just walking, trail along the road, the whole way. I didn't see many people hiking, but the cyclists use the road.”

“I'm 6ft 350lb, the bathroom is kinda small and the shower knob needs to be fixed/replaced. But other than that the place is great. Large fridge, powerful little microwave. Walmart and numerous stores restaurants and fast food joints close by. McDonald's is literally next door. Pool is nice and the service people and desk clerks are all nice people. Glad I chose to stay here.”

“We had to stay here unexpectedly on a Saturday night. We walked in after 11pm and was able to get a room. The clerk David helped us and he was excellent! Not only was he very funny but he was extremely helpful. The room was beautiful! It looked like everything was brand new. The beds were very comfy and the ac was ice cold. They had breakfast available but we walked right next door to a.nive little pancake and waffle house. Overall this was a great experience. We have been to Williamsburg many times and have never even heard of this place. We will definitely be back for our next trip! Big Thanks to David for making us feel at home at your hotel!!”
