“We've stayed in this house multiple times and it is a perfect way to experience Big Bear. Views are amazing. 200 yards to a hiking/running/mountain bike/cross country ski/snowmobile trail head that gives you 50+ miles of trails and all types of terrain to explore, including some huge rock formations that kids love to climb on. It isn't ski-in/ski-out, but I've snowboarded down to Big Bear Mountain from the house on days it dumps. Hot tub is huge, with a great view of the lake & slopes. The front/approach to the house isn't all that which is probably why it is in such great shape as it doesn't look like the traditional BB faux log cabin, but the inside & layout & deck are all first class.”

“Nice campground. Well maintained. The pools are nice. Small area inside where you can buy alcohol and sandwiches and ice cream. Bathrooms are okay. They do have continuous hot water and good pressure. The campground was quiet.Fair prices. No hidden fees. The site we originally were supposed to have wasn't quite ready yet I don't think. The septic drain was way too high and capped off. And there was a large amount of rocks in the parking area. But they were able to move us to a different spot that was very nice.”

Still nothing bad or negative to say about Sky Motel, Lindenhurst, NY. THE PLACE IS STILL CLEAN, AND THERE STILL NO BUG HERE. NO NOTHING. I HAVE ENJOYED EVERY DAY HERE. Take my advice and give Sky Motel a try. You will like it as much as I do. It is now the end of August 2022. I am still here at the Sky Motel. I still stick by my review. I have nun of the complaints that a very few have posted. My room is still clean and neat. Whatever I need everyone is very nice and helpful. This is still a good place to stay. It is very quiet at night and it is in a nice and safe neighborhood right by New York route 109 also known as Farmingdale Road in North Lindenhurst. Right across the street from West Babylon. At this Motel the whole time I am here I have never one see the Suffolk County Police called to this property. The people that stay here all nice people. I see 👪 with little kids staying here. I even have seen family groups Traveling together staying here. The whole time I have been here I have not seen one bug, Spider or Roach not one. I still say this place is a good bang for your buck. If you require the Hilton or Marriott then by all means go there. If your looking for nice neat and clean. Then this place is for you. Take it from someone who has be been here for a real long stay. I highly recommend the Sky Motel. Update: sometime an error with bedding and cig burns may occur. That s what happens when a Hotel or Motel has smoking room. Most Places are making their properties non smoking properties. If a problem happens or occurs in any Hotel or Motel. One should quietly and respectful go to the front desk with your concerns. Most establishment will address the problem and correct problem. Provided you show proper respect to those running the establishment. I have been here a few months already and for me it is a home away from home 🏡. They work very hard keeping this place clean. I see the owner the manager and his wife and maid. Cleaning and working around the Motel several hours a day. So if you think you can do better. Go, buy or lease a Hotel or Motel. Then you will see how much work goes into keeping your establishment running properly. I know first hand what it takes. I my Father and my Family owned 2 Motels For many years and a rooming house. So,I think I know what goes into running a Hotel or Motel. The hospitality industry is brutal. People are not always nice or respectful. Always be nice to other and they will be nice to you. “Both on the phone and in person I was treated graciously. It was easy to book a room and also to extend the stay an extra day. The ladies at the front desk went over and above to provide suggestions and information for attractions in the area. There are multiple buildings at the Plaza Motel. We stayed in the main building. The building was very clean and the walls nicely painted in the hallways as well as in our room. The bed and pillow was comfortable. There was a microwave, fridge, small table with 2 chairs, bedside tables, TV and dresser. The hotel is older and there are a few items that could use some updates but it is definitely clean, comfortable and safe. The breakfast was a simple continental breakfast, no hot foods but certainly sufficient to start the day. It's in a location that makes it easy to get to Virginia City, Gold Hill and other areas to explore. There are laundry facilities on the premises. We would stay here again if we were in the area.”
