“My entire family loves this Aquatic Center. Personally my favorite part is the walking trail they have all kinds of wonderful plants and flowers. One reason I love it here is the lifeguards are very attentive, I have a two-year-old girl that isn't afraid of much. So knowing they're always watching and not on their phones gives me peace of mind. Another really nice accommodation is the playground is padded, the gates seem pretty secure and you are able to easily bring a wheelchair or wagon. The indoor pool could be a little cleaner especially the floors other than that I cannot complain. We love this place and plan on coming again.”

“Calm and peaceful Park. Did the walk along the trails, pretty much very easy trails and safe environment. Met lots of people who walked and just hangouts enjoying the peaceful place. There are also the library building in this area. Also checked the secret garden but not much flowers since this is Fall season, there is a little “swamp” or lake behind of the garden with green water on it, and some dry trees (Autumn) it gave me Halloween vibes :)”

“A nice mini trail, mostly on a boardwalk - very easy to walk. There is a small creek running alongside most of the trail and there are a few bridges which cross it. Only real complaint is that there are plenty of man made objects such as orange posts and netting which tarnish the natural beauty.”

“We found a deceased mother opossum that was probably hit by a car in front of our house. She had 9 babies with her. I called them and they were so prompt in accepting these babies and the drop off was so easy! I'm so appreciative that they were willing and able to take them. The facility looked beautiful as well. “It's the gem of Gilroy parks and soon to include a SJ Sharks practice arena that will be open to the public I believe. That will be built in the field on the right hand side of the entrance driveway. My only issue is why a "sports park" doesn't include tennis, volleyball, pickle ball and/or handball courts??? It's literally just grass where 3 of the 4 corners are for baseball and then they paint in soccer fields in the middle. Nothing fancy but Gilroy makes sure not to waste a penny to keep the grass greener then green.”

“This is a nice area of Fort Gibson Lake and a beautiful place to camp. There's an attendant at the entance. Lots of places to hook up if you have a camper, or you can use a tent. Dogs must be on a leash. The restrooms were close by, but I didn't go there because we used the camper one. I have used them in the past, and they were fine, with showers, if I remember correctly. Good swimming and fishing off the banks. Our friends were camping, so we came down to visit them for the evening. They do jug fishing, so we went with them on their boat to check the lines for caught fish, which were added to the others that they had already caught, and we had a delicious fish fry! The sunrises/sunsets are magnificent! Except for the children across the Bay playing in the water, it was completely silent! Of course, during the daytime, it can be loud with boats and is crowded during holidays and weekends! We had a great time! Fort Gibson is a large gorgeous lake with many areas like this one. It's popular, so it's best to reserve a site to make sure that you will have one when you come here.”
