“Great place to bring your kids. The river here is calmer. It’s still kern so keep a close eye on them at all times the currents are very dangerous. Great spot to pan for fools gold. I’ve always had fun coming out here and nice place to come unwind from the city and see the beautiful fluffy clouds pass by. I miss it here so much!”

“I'll be honest... I love this park. Very clean and children are always having fun here including my own babies. There is barbecue places, a field, and the location is right next to a school and down the street is a grocery store. Plenty of parking and a nice comfortable walking path big enough for bicycle riding and any wheel chairs. Variety of playground amenities for the children to have fun and seating if you get tired. Plus plenty of shade and developed in a comfortable neighborhood. Furthermore, there is a bed of rocks next to the park that kids love to play around and experience nature. With all the amenities, you would think the kids would be playing but I mostly find them playing with God given rocks and sticks 😀 ...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to bring your children here to have the best time especially during spring God bless.... 😀”

My kids & now grandkid have all enjoyed this sometimes sketchy park.”

Christmas Hill Park

Address: 7050 Miller Ave, Gilroy, CA 95020, USA

Park

“Really enjoy this park especially on Red Barn side trails to walk your dog. The uvas creek is a bonus were your dog can take a dip to cool off. The other side has a kids playground, BBQ pits with seating and lots of shade. There are many trails on both side just be careful some people do not leash their dogs which could put their dog in danger if it would run up on a dog that has aggression towards other dogs at there expense but luckily I do not have that problem with my dog. I firmly believe there is a correct way to introduce dogs to each other than having a dog run up off leash onto another dog. It's a very enjoyable park with many trails and water on both side. Yes bathrooms are available. The garlic festival is held there yearly as well. Also lots of wildflowers including poppies during April great for photography.”

“We celebrated our FTFChurch Easter Camp 2018. The weather is nice. Sunny in the morning, A little cold in the night. The cabins are decks of 12 people with restroom. Bathrooms and showers are huge and the water is clean and clear. We love this place! Big fields to play soccer, basketball, basketball, softball and lots of outdoor games. As a church who loves to cook, we really love the kitchen area. All things are provided, clean and sinks are working really well. It is like a restaurant's kitchen. Five star for that. The chapel is big and the pulpit is really pleasing with big wooded cross on the wall. Our kids enjoyed the play grounds, the pingpong table and soccer table in the kitchen. A golf cart was provided for our senior pastor who's troubling walking. A ramp was built by the management for our churchmates who have their electronic wheel chair. Price wise. Supportive, friendly and caring staffs. Thank you,Lord for this Camp Grounds! We had an awesome Easter Camp.”

“Great park. It is small and has a small parking lot, and although it is only five miles from the famous Hollywood sign, there are not many people in it even on Sunday, which is very important for me - a person who loves tranquility. At the same time, there are hiking trails, I walked along them only a little and I think that they are very short, but the very fact of their presence is also a plus for this wonderful park.”

Spot 9 is the best spot if you have kids because it has a large space and is right next to the vault toilet (which was kept up pretty nicely).
